There's no way to know how many women have self excluded from the pond over the years leaving only the ones who don't mind sharing with men. I think if we could put a number on that it might look very different.

In my experience, the only people who are this naive and stupid are doing it deliberately. You know good and well that the majority of people who responded to that "referendum" were not users of the damn ponds.

Nice whataboutery. Give me the stats on women murdered by women. Women sexually assaulted by women. Now compare them to women murdered by men. Women sexually assaulted by men. You are comparing a fucking mountain to a spec of dust. That is why men are not welcome in spaces where wonen are vulnerable. And since transwomen are men....

I have to wonder whether these people who worry so much more about being assaulted by women than men (original sex based meaning obviously), assuming of course that they are female, have actually had it happen to them that over their lives they've experienced far more sexual aggression by women than men, and this very end-of-the-bell curve experience is clouding their perception of the usual risk distribution.

Or is it just that they know damn well that just like the rest of us the number of times they have faced sexual aggression or entitlement or boundary pushing from female people is orders of magnitude lower than the number of times they faced these things from male people, but they have somehow convinced themselves that their and our reality is of less significance than the theoretical risk that someone, somewhere, might be being unfairly harsh to a trans person.

Assault by a woman can result in death. Of the two - which is worse to deal with?
