It is because my views on this are reasonable that I am not calm!

Yes I was thinking about that. Also wondering whether "Not letting anyone else speak" was in reality more like "Not allowing herself to be talked over". Research shows a strong correlation between sex and how often gets interrupted or spoken over, and also that a woman speaking more than about 30% in a conversation is perceived by observers as "dominating" it.

That’s not screaming. That’s raising one’s voice to be heard, over a considerable hubbub.

It’s interesting that when women raise their voices in this way, it’s characterised as screaming. Kids do it in school “the teacher screamed at me”. No, she didn’t. She raised her voice so she could be heard. I taught for many years and deliberately dropped my voice to a lower register when increasing volume. It’s far more effective.

Detrimentally characterising the natural results of women having different vocal cords to those of men is a subtle form of misogyny.

Well that escalated quickly! Amazing to remember how when the alcove username first posted on FWR just a few weeks ago (s)he claimed to be totally gender critical but just very concerned "we" weren't saying the things nicely enough. That persona flipped pretty fast!

This GC-as-they-come-but to angry flip to retired username is such a funny pattern because they always try but always end up losing control and venting.

Transwomen know deep down that they are men, which is why they fight so hard to get into women's spaces (they need the affirmation that it gives them).

If you are truly confident in your identity then you don't need external validation. I'm confident that I'm a woman which is why on the occasions I decide to use a mixed service (like a mixed pool) I don't get offended.

There's no reason for transwomen to avoid the mixed sex pond.

Wouldn't it be cool and kind of trans women to use the mixed sex bathing pond? That way no one has to feel uncomfortable.

She needs to take a different approach - setting up a sound system to drown out the voices of this she disagrees with, perhaps, or releasing thousands of flying insects? We could come up with a list of hundreds of different methods she could use to express herself in a far more aggressive yet somehow acceptable (in the eyes of the TRAs and their supporters) way.

Oh yes, apparently according to @alcovecupboards because the suffragettes were right to break the law to achieve parity in law that makes it ok for city councils, businesses, public services etc to also break the law in service of privileging men who call themselves women to override women's rights.
Because trans rights are human rights or summat.

For sexist people, angry is the worst thing for a woman to be. How dare a woman speak loudly and immoderately? How dare she allow her face to frown and redden? How dare she put herself forward and demand others listen to what she wants to say to them as if she matters?
