Those politicians in Scotland happy to legislate for men to go into women's jails, those journalists arguing that it's a hate crime to object to Khelif being allowed to compete in the Olympic women's boxing, and then the scariest whispering of all, those clinicians and policy makers happy to wave on teens into irreversible change, and pressurize anyone objecting to shit up or quit.

A man can't become a woman.

Don't really care how much perceived pain these people are in, the damage is greater in buckling to this fantasy than stating what's right.

Given his own struggles, I think he's perfectly entitled to say what he has in the circumstances. At least one person standing up and saying not in my name.

I recall a time, when the mixed up people weren't thrust in our faces as the general population, when we over the years learnt to show sympathy where deserved, but their world didn't collide with ours, let alone that world gain dominance in public policy over ours, let alone the movers and shakers in our world saying our world had to totally change, indeed our world was in the wrong.
Douglas Murray put it perfectly. As an out and proud gay, he realized that the mainstream world had to be brought along to accept gay rights, a sledgehammer could never work, and absolutely not any shaming or obligating the mainstream population into acquiescence.
And as he's noted, decades of careful work paid off in gay rights now being objected to only by a very small hardcore.
But in the trans activist "worlds collide" and "we'll crush the dissenters any way we can" activist mindset, it's all backfired.
Thus whatever possible reasonable points Louise has, I might have been sympathetic to years ago if the trans campaigns had been reasonable, but now I think that...I don't give a shit.
