I happened to catch a segment of a news report on Sky by Alex Crawford who has been in Afghanistan.
In a clip about a terrible flooding disaster in a mountainous region. Not as big as Nepal but again a deep valley where buildings etc. destroyed. And no outside help.
But also showed the visit from an aid worker for a women's charity set up by another Sky reporter Yalda Hakim to support girls and women in Afghanistan. (It was filmed by chance as he arrived with school books etc during the desperate attempts to find people lost in the flood)
