The Spanish nutrition agency issued a guideline on nutritional needs in menopause - using reference valued based on studies of men.

They've apologised for not including a warning that the data were a load of rubbish.

Makes sense, sort of. Spain has self-ID. So they obviously need to include male data for the MENopause. Adding female data would complicate things. Not worth the effort. Just use the data for the important women. You know, the male ones.

Apropos of nothing, my son’s fiancée is Spanish and thinks it’s hilarious that the Spanish for non-binary is non-binaria/ non-binario depending on sex.
