Some time ago, at least a couple of years and maybe more, there was a thread on Mumsnet about JK Rowling and transphobia (or not transphobia).
In it someone quoted a beautiful, not too long and very elegantly phrased essay she wrote where she expressed deep compassion for people who felt they were truly the opposite gender, but also that natal women's rights have to be respected. It's not this essay - it's shorter https://www.jkrowling.com/opinions/j-k-rowling-writes-about-her-reasons-for-speaking-out-on-sex-and-gender-issues/
I just can't find it now. Does anyone have it bookmarked? I thought I had it but don't, and can't find it on advanced search.
