Those laws apply to the belief in gender ideology as well: nobody can be discriminated against for believing in it. That doesn't mean that gender ideology is any truer than religious belief; they fall into the same category of "something some people believe, which has no basis in reality, and which other people cannot be compelled to believe".

I have freind’s brother who announced to everyone he is Jesus Christ, he is not, and no one was under any obligation to treat his subjective belief of his own self identity as if it was materially real. However, it was material reality that he held the belief.
