Pissed you can't piss in peace

Being trans right now is to be institutionally discriminated against. It’s having to worry about where and when you can go to the loo. Which is fucking outrageous. That this should happen under a so called Labour government is unforgivable.

Meanwhile we stagger on. If you want backup using a toilet I’m yours. I’ll walk into the ladies with you and tell people to back the fuck off if I have to. I will walk into the men’s too if I have to, so everyone is scandalised at me while you get a chance to sneak in and have a piss in peace. The situation is ludicrous - what I can do is a drop in the ocean, but drop I will.

Maybe I need to print myself a t-shirt that says fighting for the freedom to piss in peace. I don’t know. The world is on fire both metaphorically and literally, yet of all the things one could do a big chunk of people have chosen to gang up on a vulnerable minority. It’s like watching people dig their own graves.

Again, how would we tell the difference between a 'safe' TIM and Katie Dolatowski, Tiffany Scott, Paris Green or any other man?

Or even Ian Bullock or Kurtis Mawson. Both men entered women’s toilets and claimed they were transwomen for the duration they were in the women’s toilets.

Nobody can ever answer that one.

My daughter a HCP (heavily indoctrinated) said to me what about the transexuals, i just said i really don’t care.

as any other explanation is a waste of oxygen, and i am all for saving the environment.

Boiledbeetle · 05/08/2026 19:18

I'm so done with this.

It's nothing to do with someone's trans status. I just want men to stay out of places, events, organisations etc etc that are specifically for women.

Past that I give not one single shiny fuck if some men find themselves upset or angry that they can no longer do what they want without push back. Tough shit.

Hedgehogforshort · 05/08/2026 19:03

Skipped forward as only just joined this thread. It may be someone else has posted the same thought.

So the OP appears to me to be a man pretending to be a woman who will go out of they/them/she way to defend a man pretending to be a woman using a female space.

very Pythonesque.

Is that you mr Cleese?

PrancingPanda · 05/08/2026 18:41

It is so very obvious, that it isn't about the 'just want to pee' is it? It's the Validation!!! Why can't people see this?

Anyone who offers to 'escort' trans identifying men into a womens' loo is a serious risk to women. Telling anyone who objects to 'back off' indeed- mate, back off yourself. Men- keep out of womens spaces.

And please don't anyone suggest using disabled loos- they are needed for disabled people. There are few enough about as it is.

New to MN? Why not read 'break it down for me' or 'that never happens' on FWR? Then maybe the same old daft questions might not come up.
Though I doubt it

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 05/08/2026 18:13

@IntolerantOfIntolerance - women had to campaign and fight for public loos - until then, they couldn’t go far from home unless they knew they could find a private toilet to use - it’s called the urinary leash. Men did not care that women had NO public loos - in fact they actively fought against them.

Trans people have the right to use the toilet of their biological sex, and if they are not happy with that, they have the right to campaign and fight for gender neutral toilets. What they do not have the right to do is to barge in and appropriate the rights that women fought so hard for - the right to privacy, safety and dignity in public loos.

Dobeebeedah · 05/08/2026 18:08

I am a female (born Female) and I want to use Female toilets/changing areas that are EXCLUSIVELY for females.

In Europe there are mixed sex facilities available and I'm OK with that.

WrongKindOfFeminist · 05/08/2026 18:07

Oh what a shame, I was going to look out a hat.

Did OP not come back for his 'engagement', then?

S/he seems to have rejected our joint proposal. Wedding's off, folks!

Palomiino · 05/08/2026 18:04

Also some transwomen do pass, though it’s extremely rare.

the ones that annoy me the most are the ones who just look like men who are wearing dresses with no modifications or effort at all.

WrongKindOfFeminist · 05/08/2026 18:03

RapidOnsetGenderCritic · 05/08/2026 16:50

You can pee next to me – unless you've had genital surgery, in which case you might need to use the cubicle instead of the urinals. I promise I won't harass you. I won't even speak to you, nor give you more than a glance. Same as the other men.

Thank you.

We need more of this.

Meanwhile, 'trans men' and women with other creative gender identities are welcome in women's single sex spaces.

Palomiino · 05/08/2026 18:02

AngelOfTheNorthwest · 05/08/2026 15:54

It's cruel to lie. They don't "pass" and even if they did, they aren't women and need to accept that and the law.

And women (with trauma or religious restrictions especially) need to know that there are no men in their single sex spaces - not even heavy disguised ones.

I agree they aren’t women and shouldn’t be in women’s spaces. But I think the situation has become utterly mindless of late wrt to the entitlement that ‘ trans’ people have now. At one time people who were genuinely trans were not shouting the odds.

WrongKindOfFeminist · 05/08/2026 18:01

IntolerantOfIntolerance · 05/08/2026 13:45

Thank you for your rational response, although the very fact there have been reports - rather than serious engagement - hugely underlines the major issue to which I'm alluding 🙄

Did OP not come back for his 'engagement', then?

ItsOnlyMee1 · 05/08/2026 16:23

I think trans people should have to use the disabled toilets. That way they can piss in peace and nobody else has to worry they are sharing a toilet with somebody who was born with different reproductive organs.

Edited

Oh FFS.
Do you really have to have this explained to you?

Has anyone on FWR logged 'Witless comments' on one axis against 'University vacations/ schools hols' on the other?

EdithStourton · 05/08/2026 17:56

@KG74 I mean, we are all walking phenotypes, even cis people, and to assume that there are no deviations from a hard-line biological distinction set out in genetic code seems un-scientific and unreasonable to expect in an age that has long-since accepted nature V's nature is a false distinction.

Oh, we know that there are 'deviations from a hard-line biological distinction set out in genetic code'.

As it happens, I know someone who has a 'deviation' from the usual 'hard-line biological distinction set out in genetic code'. He has a DSD.

He is still a bloke. He looks and sounds like a bloke.

DSDs have nothing to do with trans.

ScarlettSarah · 05/08/2026 17:43

So you are intending to defend the right to 'piss in peace' by going into the toilets and causing disruption? OK. That makes perfect sense.

I am beginning to feel that this thread was specifically composed to vex me.

The idea we are all equipped with skills that makes chromosomes, hormonal profiles and gonads 100% observable with clothes on seems nonsensical in this day and age. But moreover, there is no sense in creating division where statistics do not back up any of the widespread danger claims that are being touted around. I doubt any trans people are here to read this, but if you are, panic not. Trans people are always going to be here so society needs to adapt to you, not the other way around.

No such thing as cis. Since sex is binary, dimorphic and immutable, trans-identifying people remain members oif their birth sex, regardless of medication or presentation.

I need the accessible toilet due to disability. They can stay the fuck out of those too.

As a disabled woman I can't agree with this.
They can use their own loos like everyone else

I think the poster was trying to be sarcastic and shame us. Pity it didn't work.

I agree with you about toilets for people with disabilities.

This is obvs a stupid question, but where are the men with a public profile saying that they are happy to welcome any man, however he presents, into male single sex spaces and pledging to leave them well alone to get on with their business? A 'you can pee next to me' for men. A 'be kind' moment for men

Andy Burnham could lead on this for example

I know, I know 🙄
