Polycule falls apart

I expect people remember that Heather Herbert (charged in relation to social media comments he made after Ann Widdecombe's death) is in a polycule with Sophie Molly (aka Sparkles, aka Euan Weddell) and someone called Poppybear.

Molly, I believe, is a witness for Jolyon Maugham in Sarah Phillimore's libel case against Maugham.

Poppybear has been posting some very indiscreet posts on BlueSky about both Molly and Herbert, and it looks, tragically, as if the polycule has fallen apart.

According to Poppybear, Herbert's comments about Widdecombe "painted a bullseye on all of us", and led to the police coming in and "invading" all their devices (whatever that means).

Also according to Poppybear, living with Sophie Molly is "like being permanently slapped around the face by pathological laziness unless it's something that grooms her ego."

Oh dear.

Thank you (and to @EveryoneIsPointingNow ) although I'm still a bit hazy on whether a swede and a turnip is interchangable in the matter of 'neeps and tatties'. I've had to do quite a bit of googling for this thread, including 'butteries' and now I definitely want one of those. The mention of Lidl selling them: is this just in Scotland?

For needs and tatties with haggis you need orange turnip (swede). We called both swede and the little white ones "turnip".

I agree lidl bakery is excellent.

It's only in the North East and East of Scotland. No bastard crosses the Highland Boundary fault line with a buttery. I can't even imagine what happens, I suppose they go instantaneously stale, and a stale buttery is a travesty.

You could get a buttery in one of the baker's in Glenrothes in the 80s. I guess not now, most of the local ones are gone, replaced by chain/franchises

You can get them in any Stephen's bakeries, Stephen's was founded in Dunfermline so east coast recipies

That’s the NHS for you. Gone all woke with chia puddings, when what you really want is a butter / lard / salt combo designed to give your coronary arteries a good work
out.
