I though some merkin flappers might enjoy this cartoon from FB.

This one is the cartoonist being super right wing and supporting Trump. Not at all critical.

Things I also like that Princess would be appalled at because the creators were awful and in some cases horrific.

Guernica, Gill Sans, the poems of Ted Hughes.

I do draw the line at the Ring Cycle, but that's purely based on my musical tastes, not on Wagner's opinions.

lechiffre55 · 22/07/2026 15:12

I chose this one because the title is "Redner Unto Netanyahu". With a title like that it's gotta be grossly anti-semitic right?

Right but the artist regularly posts cartoons of Holocaust denial. Some people may wish to be aware of that before they share his art. You obviously are fine with it, other people don't wish to spread the art of people who make cartoons that make Jewish people less safe just because a couple of his pieces make you laugh.

Fair enough, I've already thanked you and 493ruth for the info regarding the cartoonist, about whom most people, including presumably the OP, knew absolutely nothing.

I won't be sharing his 'art', even this funny and perceptive cartoon, as I've done a bit of digging and I think it's more likely than not that he has made offensive, antisemitic cartoons.

Humour is a great defence against irrational beliefs like misogyny, and fortunately there are lots of other funny and equally perceptive cartoonists around, so Stone Toss is no loss.

Sorry is that me you're accusing of saying to the river to the sea?!

I'm very curious to know as the OP are you a fan of his other works? Is everyone entitled to laugh and joke at dangerous Jewish conspiracy theories if the cartoon gives them a giggle and any of us that take issue have our jimmies in a twist?

Baseless accusations get thrown around all the time. Gender critical people get compared to the very worst of humanity all of the time.

Hence it would help if people didn't unknowingly or perhaps knowingly in your case amplify Nazis who draw little cartoons about Jewish people controlling the world.

This cartoon stands alone. There is no dangerous Jewish conspiracy theory that I can see & you are getting your jimmies in a twist over nothing. You may take issue with the artist but there is nothing wrong with this piece of his art.

lechiffre55 · 22/07/2026 15:09

I went and had a look at the website. Thanks for making me visit for the first time ever. I wanted to see for myself just how bad it was. I don't take accusation at face value. The wikipedia page doesn't give any examples to support the accusations. So your accusations just generated my traffic to their website. Every post you make here bumps this thread to make sure even more people get to see it. I would imagine whoever the artist is, they would thank you for your marketing and helping drive traffic to their art.
Anyway at a random sample of 2 minutes scrolling here's my results in posts to follow.

Aaaand - we're now talking about anti-semitism, and Nazis -

instead of the point of this cartoon.

Which I suspect was exactly the point of the interventions.

Jeeze some people got their jimmies really all in a twist all of sudden didn't they? Do you guys get paid for policing what other people look at, or do you just enjoy doing it for free?

Baseless accusations get thrown around all the time. Gender critical people get compared to the very worst of humanity all of the time. On another thread here Amnesty UK accused many UK charities like Beira's place of being anti-rights.

When you call everyone a Nazi, the word stops having any meaning. Everyone you dislike becomes a Nazi.

I have a sneaking suspicion that some throwing accusations of anti-semitism here are also the same people "from the river to the sea"ing in other places.

How do you know that no one else on this thread isn't Jewish? It's a big assumption to make.

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 22/07/2026 15:04

People’s behaviour does influence how much I enjoy their work. I can’t enjoy certain actors, music etc now I know the type of people they were.

At the same time, at the moment very ordinary mainstream opinions or beliefs get you called a neo Nazi or extreme right wing. I’m already tarred by that brush, despite doing nothing but reading and having opinions.

I’ll check out his other work and decide whether he’s actually offensive or just challenging.

Princessblackberry · 22/07/2026 15:03

murasaki · 22/07/2026 14:56

But this thread is about this cartoon. Which is on point and funny. Not him as a person or any of his other works.

Right and some of us are Jewish and don't like antisemitic artists being amplified regardless of which cartoon they're sharing. Enjoy it is you wish, but people may want to be aware when resharing that others may take issue with your amplifying a misogynist and an antisemite.

The cartoon in the OP isn't about holocaust denial.

No he does antisemitic cartoons of antisemitic conspiracy theories.

OldCrone · 22/07/2026 14:32

493ruth · 22/07/2026 14:29

nah, holocaust denial is though.

Also, the ability to disagree with someone else on some things and agree on others. Try it some time.

murasaki · 22/07/2026 14:30

GiddyGiddyGiddy · 22/07/2026 14:08

Did you click on the Wikipedia link?

"The author, who is described by experts, journalists, and other critics as a neo-Nazi creator,[3][4][5][9] takes a non-overt, crypto-Nazi approach[5] to channel and normalize neo-Nazi viewpoints with reference to trending events or social dynamics.[10] Among the various extreme ideas conveyed, antisemitism is a pronounced element,[7] with one cartoon having the topic of Jewish deicide as its theme,[11] and various others including Holocaust denial dog whistles.[6] The webcomic also includes sexist tropes,[6] and some use suicide among transgender people as a punchline.["

You do know Wikipedia can be edited by anyone and isn't reliable? Would surprise me if a TRA had got to that one given the very funny and accurate cartoon.

This cartoonist is a neonazi, btw

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StoneToss

Thanks for that, 493ruth and also Princessblackberry- like most people I'd never heard of Stone Toss, but now you've shared that info, I won't access any of his comics or have anything else to do with him.

That is a very perceptive cartoon, though, shame about the provenance.

OldCrone · 22/07/2026 14:26

Princessblackberry · 22/07/2026 14:20

So what? Because I despise misogyny and antisemitism and wouldn't want anyone who feels similarly to unknowingly share the "art" of a neonazi? There's not really anything to seperate when his "art" is of his neo nazi beliefs. HTH.

Believing that men are not women is a neo nazi belief? Really?
