So if I am to draw all the threads together, the theory is that the person who has been arrested for both the murder of AW and for unspecified potential terrorism related matters was somehow radicalised, influenced or inspired by an online organisation or group. And targeted AW because of one or more of her expressed socially conservative views (like Charlie Kirk in the USA).

With the link to HH is that HH appeared to know that Ann’s death was due to violent means and not a natural death before the police made that public. Which HH may have known through sharing of information on the web/devices if HH also frequented the same online places and chats as the arrested suspect, hence the checking of HHs hard drive.

Some of them, yes. Some are even outright sexual fetishists experiencing arousal when dressed as women. Other trans people are gay people looking to escape homophobia. Others are neurodivergent people, or sexual abuse victims, ill at ease with their bodies and promised peace if they transition. Some transmen are girls looking to escape male attention. And some trans people have something weird going on in their brain that creates a disconnect between the reality of their body and how they see it (for a comparison, think of anorexic girls who see themselves as genuinely fat even when they are objectively underweight, for example).

The whole 'true trans' thing is something I struggled with for a while. The poor 'actual' trans women who were being tarred by the nasty transwomen who were just men who were 'at it'. The penny dropped when I realised I couldn't possible know what motivated any of these men and I had no responsibility to. I'd be just as uncomfortable with a man who was where he shouldn't be regardless of what might be going on in his head.
