I'm unsure whether to put a content warning on this post. It's Barbie Kardashian, so it involves explicit discussions and references to abuse, porn, etc.

'Kardashian (24), who was released from prison last year has been given until July 6 to vacate emergency accommodation in Meath after she was caught filming porn and engaging in prostitution.
But the volatile criminal, who served her sentence for threatening to rape and kill her mother, defended her prostitution gig - albeit she claims to have now stopped as she fights eviction.
“The reason why I was doing the porn and prostitution was because I wanted to be objectified sexually.
“I wanted to be viewed as a whore and as a slut by the entire Irish society basically. It’s my aspiration to be like Bonnie Blue,” she said.
...
Now Kardashian, who is a legally recognised female, admits she was having scores of men over to her council accommodation - in a clear breach of her tenancy agreement.
“I advertised myself online as a prostitute. I was giving them my address which was breaching the tenancy agreement. We were having sex completely consensually and during some of the encounters I asked the men if they could let me film ourselves having sex and they said yeah and that I could put the videos up online.
“That was obviously another breach of the tenancy agreement. It says in the agreement that I’m not able to film any content inside the property. Some ratted me out I guess,” she said.'

My concern is why Ruhana, an organisation set up to help women, is helping this man.

'Ruhama, an Irish NGO and registered charity which says it offers support for women impacted by prostitution aided Kardashian in attempting to appeal the council decision.
In correspondence with the council a caseworker for the organisation cited Kardashian’s history of “complex trauma,” and stated that she faces no alternative housing options.'

https://www.ruhama.ie/common-questions/

'We offer free and confidential support to women affected by prostitution or sex trafficking in Ireland. '

'Ruhama is a women’s organisation and a safe space for women, including transgender women.'

Are Ruhama cognisant of the potential risk to staff? Other service users?

'Detective Garda Niall Fitzgerald of Roxboro Road Garda Station, Limerick, gave evidence that gardaí believe Ms Kardashian continues to “pose a significant threat to those she has made threats towards, as well as to the wider public.”
Kardashian had 15 previous convictions including for threats to kill, sexual assault, assault causing harm, assault, and causing criminal damage to property.'

Dolatowski is dangerous and it feels like we are all just waiting for someone to be his next victim.

Imaginary86 · 07/09/2026 19:24

What have I read 🤢

Wishesandhorses · 07/09/2026 19:13

And it's likely not unlike Dolotowski who comes out of custody, breaks parole, re offends and is re imprisoned again. Just not able to function outside. The worry is the people in their vicinity likely to be broken in the course of the offending to get them returned to custodial care.

I had a look at the rules for depriving people of their liberty without their consent on the grounds of danger to themselves or others - must've been on another thread.

It's tricky - not doing so because people are doing 'outrageous' things is an important part of it.

I suspect that bar is very high because there is such a long history of people, esp women being institutionalised because they don't conform socially/sexually.

But every ounce of common sense is screaming that this man is not well, and there needs to be protection not only from him but for him.
He is clearly a very damaged person, and for his own sake as well as for ours you'd want him to be gathered up and taken care of somewhere safe.

Given that he was removed from the women's prison because of the public outcry, I think the precedent has been set that he should not be housed with women, so there's some hope that if he is sent to 'somewhere safe', it will not be a women's space.

Arguably its what he is trying to engineer. He is clear that he knows he is a risk to himself and others. Making statements threatening the prison governor may have been an attempt to get put back inside. Institutions may give him a sense of security.

What’s has happened to this individuals father? Has he been arrested? Given the abuse he inflicted on BK and his wife shouldn’t he be facing criminal charges?

hes totally destroyed BK‘s mind - very disturbing case. I’d like to understand when the threshold will be met for a secure unit…

BK says he is actively seeking to track down and kill his parents, both of them, so I reckon they are living in fear, wherever they are.

Everything about this is depraved

Barbie himself, who needs to be taken into secure psychological care.

The men who are lining up to have sex with him.

The idiotic NGOs who are supporting him.

The poor women who are being let down by the above.

Ireland has swung so far ‘anti-church’ that any questioning of sexual morality is seen as a bad thing. But we need to be able to say, plainly, this is deeply wrong on all levels and we do not want to tolerate it in society.

How this person is not assessed as being unwell and a danger to himself and others is beyond me.

AccordingToWhom · 06/09/2026 16:44

The absolute state of him! He's obviously very disordered.

ETA: saw this elsewhere on Reddit before I found this

Bonnie Blue is a controversial UK porn star who regularly hosts events in which she invites hundreds of young men to have sex with her.

There was a "it'll never happen" thread but I think it got filled up. I'm assuming there's a new one somewhere

Just out of interest, what’s a laneway? Not heard the term before.

It’s another term for ‘lane’. I’d never heard it before either. Perhaps it’s an American term as in they use ‘driveway’ rather than ‘drive’ for the space in front of a house 🤔

He can do whatever he likes. He got into a woman’s prison, he made threats towards his mother as soon as he was released, he breaks his tenancy and probably parole conditions with prostitution. It’s not good for him or his society .

Some TDs, and Varadkar, made some mumbling statements of vague concern about BK's behaviour when BK was raised in public questions by journalist Ben Scallan but nothing was ever actually done to address the serious problem BK is for our society.

Irish politicians absolve themselves of any responsibility to deal with these types of problems that they themselves created in the first place by voting through daft (and dangerous) legislation.

I'm not sure if he is accessing women's spaces other than prison. Although, it being Ireland, I suppose he probably is.

The fact that this man is allowed to access women’s spaces by everyone who should understand safeguarding is one of the most appalling things I have seen. He’s dangerous, his circumstances are awful but that doesn’t mitigate his violence.

PaterPower · 01/09/2026 15:29

Christ. Never mind the Barbie and Otto shit, which is more than bad enough, the whole article is depressing as hell.

I’ll never understand how he was acquitted of threatening the female prison officer. He admitted having said he’d rape her so violently using instruments that she’d never be able to have children - and he was acquitted because apparently it’s ok to talk like that to a prison officer! It’s just bit of backchat apparently.

exactly - here is a podcast where he admits it all - content warning!

Yes, the one thing that can be said about BK that is not 100% eye-poppingly awful is that everybody, from the then Taoiseach [Prime minister] down agreed that he should not be in a women's prison.

In other words, it didn't matter that he self-IDed as a woman, that he had a GRC that said he was a woman, that in theory the state policy is that
TWAW - BK demonstrated just what that meant in real life, and his 'legally certified' sex was brushed aside and he was not kept in a women's prison.

It showed how flimsy the acceptance of TWAW is - I don't believe the Plain People of Ireland, as Myles na gCopaleen called us, have ever bought into gender ideology, and when push came to shove in the BK case, neither did the government.

Leo Varadkar, and other government ministers, who were asked about the BK case by the press all denied thinking it was suitable that he should be in the women's prison but notably never actually specifically acted to have him moved or to amend the rules that allowed him to be placed there. He was eventually moved but, in my view, BK was accommodated in Limerick Women's Prison for much longer than he should have been.

The Irish govt have made vague noises of agreement with us plain people of Ireland at the awfulness of government policy in this area of law and policy as though they themselves have no bloody control over the law and policy.

I think part of the issue there was that the other person he threatened was being held in prison awaiting trial for the murder of her stepson who was only 6 or 7 years old so I can tell you that locally the feeling was let Barbie get her so people didn’t feel as outraged. I’m not saying that’s right but just giving my opinion and wondering did it influence the jury at all and the poor prison officer got a raw deal. I know it shouldn’t have in any way influenced the jury as it’s obvious that he is a dangerous fucker but he was also obviously horrifically abused as a child so him threatening a child killer shouldn’t come as a surprise. I’m probably not explaining myself well as I’m trying to get dinner prepared here but I think bringing Tegan into the witness box just wasn’t going to help anyone’s case.

Possibly true. It’s noticeable that the article took care to say “child killer Tegan McGhee, as though that were relevant. The fact that a female prison officer was being threatened by a male is far more relevant and yet they carefully avoided saying that at all.

Wasn't that what he threatened to do to his mother, not the prison officer?
If I remember rightly, he 'only' threatened to assault the officer, not rape her.
That might make the jury's decision slightly more understandable, but it's true that juries come to weird decisions sometimes..

Though maybe less weird if you are [one is] in the courtroom to hear all the evidence and the legal definitions and the judge's instructions.

Obviously BK is a dangerous character, I'm not defending him at all.

From this article, it seems the detail of not being able to have children may have been made only to the other prisoner that BK also threatened, but I’m not sure.

The threats definitely included the use of implements though:

A Limerick prison officer told a court on Wednesday that she was “terrified” when transgender female prisoner Barbie Kardashian told her she would “rape” her with an “implement”.

(Three different occasions of such a threat, one of which was recorded and was played in court. The prison officer, Roisin Linnane said she’d never been as frightened of a prisoner before.

The other one was against a fellow prisoner: “She (Barbie Kardashian) threatened to kill her (Tegan McGhee), and she threatened to rape her with an implement and leave her in such a way that she could not have children,” Officer O’Meara alleged.

"Overall I was shocked, terrified and feared for my safety," Roisín Linnane told the Limerick Circuit Criminal Court.
