A new one for TRAs - sex realist views are like eugenics!

Gosh they're getting desperate these days aren't they? The more society returns to common sense, the wilder their claims of persecution become.

If you don't know who this one is, he's the 'academic' who played on a university hockey team with young women and then threatened to sue when rules were rightfully changed to exclude abusive men like him.

Dr Rachel Saunders (@rejserin) on X

Like eugenics, sex realism and gender critical beliefs are nothing but pseudoscience. We need to start treating it as such. https://t.co/y8vRvkN86H

I just wanted to point out there’s no such term as a “trans identifying man”. The correct terminology is “trans woman”. That is the scientific and medical terms for a transgender woman as correct language matters.

Nonsense. Saunders is no type of woman.

Weird the 'trans' loving Green party started out as a party that thought the world was overcrowded and campaigned for an 'enforced sterilisation' programme. Now they're allegedly the poster party for the progressive left, I wonder how buried the eugenics ethic is buried and will it resurface if they were to get into power. 🤔

Plus the Jews have got space lasers, you've got to love them Jews, I want to be on their side. 😂

SidewaysOtter · 12/07/2026 16:19

Oh look, another thread that highlights something that the TRA lot have done and yet another derailer rocks up to divert the conversation into "nothing to see here" territory via endless pointless arguments Hmm

Back to the subject in hand, I'm not remotely surprised that a TRA is throwing accusations of eugenics around, it's tied into the whole idea that anything gender critical is far-right and therefore fascism, fascism = nazism and thus trans people being denied the 'healthcare' they demand is eugenics because that's what the nazis did.

It's tedious nonsense and it's factually incorrect (having failed to understand, wilfully or otherwise, what 'far right', 'fascism' or 'eugenics' actually mean), but it's also showing men like 'Rachel' for what they are - men who are having a tantrum when women say no and they aren't getting what they want.

Shall we add this one to all the leading GCs being Jewish.
I mean, being a Jew AND into eugenics.
That's some horseshoe theory right there.

Oddly enough, that description fits their beloved Magnus Hirschfeld who was initially, though perhaps not later, in favour of eugenics.. Prior to WWII, the idea of eugenics had a lot of support, even among some who later became victims of its implementation by the Nazis. At a time of limited medical knowledge & treatments, eugenics was seen as offering hope that heritable illnesses could be eradicated & positive human attributes amplified.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions (& a lack of second-order thinking).

Do trans women have the same biological makeup after years of hormone replacement therapy?

They're blokes. Blokes with female hormones pumped into them, blokes with breasts, sometimes even blokes with mutilated genitals that look like crude approximations of females genitalia, but at the end of the day, even after all that, they're still blokes.

Which makes "Trans Identified Males" much more accurate language than "transwoman" (with or without the pissing space.)

I am a cisgender woman who has worked with dozens of transgender people I know what I’m talking about. “Gender critical” speil does not overwrite actual medical terms no matter how much you want it to.

Congratulations on being the only known woman in the universe who thinks calling yourself cis is going to endear you to gender critical women, who have used the word woman for many hundreds of years, and understood that it means an adult human female, without having to tag on a prefix.

I use the term Trans identifying man , TIM ( and TIW for balance) , because, thanks to the very successful Stonewall brainwashing of large numbers of the population some people are still confused and think that if you use the word woman, as in transwoman, to describe someone then it is because they are a woman. Nope. Using TIM makes it very clear that while someone may identify as trans and call themselves a transwoman they are still, and forever more will be , male. And of course that a transman is still and will forever more be, a woman.

So much of the language women use about ourselves, and the language that we use to describe our bodies and our biology has been stolen from us or mangled into hate speech or clumsy word salad that I think it is important to start claiming language back and making clear that we are not letting go of our identity by losing our words.

nicepotoftea · 12/07/2026 12:31

'Trans identitying' is an inclusive term that does not assume that all people who identify as trans identify as the opposite sex. It also includes people who are gender fluid.

But back to Saunders. He’s a nasty, creepy bloke who has been spreading his nonsense for years. No doubt the young women in Nottingham have felt coerced into pretending they are comfortable with him in their team and spaces. I’m sure some have swallowed the kool-aid but I’m also sure that there will be some young women who have found excuses to give up their hockey because of this selfish individual.

England hockey were entirely beee kind until eventually forced into complying with the equality act so yes any of those young women would have found expressing the view that Rachel was a man, very difficult

generally teams that complained about women's sides fielding TW were given the choice of playing or forfeiting therefore losing points

the really bloody annoying thing is that hockey already has an official mixed version so it's nothing to do with wanting to play & everything to do with only wanting the validation of playing with women

These TRAs are either a man or a woman. Being trans means that person is one sex and believes they are morphing into another. So they are just male or female at birth. Everything else is fantasy.

If they believe they are women, let them call themselves that and leave the trans word out of it. We know they are not women anyway so they can live in their own deluded world. Trans has no meaning other than a desire to be another sex. Therefore trans suggests they are not female having had to transition from one sex to another in their eyes.

We know sex is biological, always was and always will be.

They are floundering at last. The trans era is coming to an end. It will take a while, but it is no longer the force it once thought it was.

CassOle · 12/07/2026 11:02

Years of hormone therapy (cross-sex hormones) do not result in anyone changing their sex. For a human to actually change sex, they would need to go through a natural metamorphosis (no exogenous hormones or surgery) to stop producing one gamete type, to then be able to produce the other gamete type.

If this ever actually happens, @MashaPavI will accept that they have genuinely changed sex.

I'm not sure this is correct. 'Trans' in scientific terms means 'across'. It is usually used to refer to the molecular structure of fats, where the position of the hydrogen atoms sits with the double carbon bond.

If you refer to a man as a woman, as in 'transwoman', the fact that you're already referring to a man as a woman is using the 'across'. So using transwoman is essentially saying 'across across man', which is silly.

There is no biological change when a man decides they'd prefer to be seen and recognised as a woman, so they are simply changing their identity as they see it, and hope others will see it. Therefore, 'trans-identifying' is correct to describe their intention, and man is the correct sex identifier.

Do trans women have the same biological makeup after years of hormone replacement therapy?

Do trans-identifying men switch from producing sperm to producing eggs after years of taking synthetic hormones? Because that is what would be required for them to change sex

The chromosomes that determine sex are present from conception and remain present in every cell of the body (except red blood cells and platelets) until death. The complex cascade of events needed to activate human sexual reproduction begins in the womb: baby girls are born with a lifetime supply of eggs

Human beings are not Mr Potato Head. You cannot swap bits in and out to make Mr Potato Head into Mrs Potato Head

MarieDeGournay · 12/07/2026 10:23

Masha may not be around still to read this, but I'd like to point out that there is a practical reason for using phrases like 'trans IDing man' or 'transIDing woman' - it's obvious that people are not at all clear what 'transwoman/ trans woman' or transman/ trans man' actually mean.

It's apparent that some people focus on the element 'woman' and so think that a trans woman is a biological female who IDs as/presents as a man... because they are a 'trans' woman.
There's a certain logic to that, isn't there?

So why not let trans women use the women's toilets? after all, they are biological females who present as 'trans', right?

And trans men need to be aware of issues like prostate cancer because they are men, right? Men who are 'trans', so although they present as women, maybe have had hormone treatment and surgery, it's important that trans men are included in men's health messaging...

You see the pickle people can get into with the terms 'trans woman' and 'trans man', Masha?

The use of 'trans-identifying' followed by the biological sex of the person is much clearer: it asserts their transgender ID, but clarifies the sex they were born into, and which they will always retain, no matter how much hormones they take or surgery they have.

It's not only less confusing linguistically, but it also simplifies the operation of EA2010, which, as the UKSC confirmed [note: confirmed the existing law, it didn't change the law]operates on the basis of biological sex.

A small number of facilities are separated on the basis of sex - not gender, gender ID, transgender ID or anything else, just sex as in biological sex.

It's much easier to understand which facilities transwomen should use if they are referred to as 'trans identifying men', so there is no confusion about which EA2010 category they belong to - they are, in the first place, men, however they identify, and therefore should use facilities designated for men.

The terms 'transwomen' and 'transmen' will continue to be used as a kind of shorthand, but when it is necessary to be clear and accurate e.g. in the application of the law, health and safety protocols, workplace regulations etc etc, they are misleading and unhelpful.

backformoreofthesame · 12/07/2026 09:58

So as long as we use your preferred words you agree that transgender ideology is leading to the sterilisation of children ? But you would rather focus on the precise words? Not a nice look

Do trans women have the same biological makeup after years of hormone replacement therapy?

Wrong.
Every cell in their bodies remains male ie XY chromosomes.
Their skeletons remain male
Their heart, lungs, cardiovascular system, bladder size and reproductive system remains male.
The connective tissue in their brains remain male.
In short they are and always will remain men/males regardless of what extraneous cross sex hormones that they take. If a man who has gone through puberty and not had himself castrated stops taking cross sex hormones and puberty blockers his body will start making his male hormones again it will never produce female hormones in female ranges because he is not female
Hope that helps

As women? No they don't, because they aren't.

Hoardasurass · 12/07/2026 09:01

MashaPav · 12/07/2026 02:37

Incorrect,
Major health and scientific bodies explicitly use the terms "transgender woman" and "trans woman" in their clinical guidelines, official literature, and diagnostic manuals. Trans women under going hormone treatment have a completely different endocrine profile and set of risks such as breast cancer. I hope this clears up some of your confusion.

No confusion here.
We on this board have known that activist have been forcing their illogical and inaccurate language on medical bodies for years hence nonsense like people with a cervix or birthing person instead of women and mothers.
Men who poison their bodies with cross sex hormones will suffer extremely serious medical complications the are however and always will remain men and male.
Hope that helps
