In my bold below you see how the psychologist does not believe the mother and has a completely different view of the father from the picture conveyed by the mother. Of course we don’t know what the truth is, but by all accounts this happens time and time again.
At para. 65, the judge found that the mother’s view of the father was “extremely negative.” She had made allegations against the father in relation to his mental health and drug use, “and has kept going back to those matters despite my earlier decisions. In my view, she has raised those matters in an effort to portray him in a negative light.”
As to the way the mother had described the father to Dr Matthews:
“Dr Matthews felt she [the mother] was describing someone with significant personality difficulties, which is not what Dr Matthews found in her own examination of the father. This is the picture the mother has presented to the court, and the picture she asks the court to find about the father.”
