Mail story: Teenage 'trans student who dressed as a dog stabs parents to death and knifes pet golden retriever'

https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15923249/Trans-furry-dog-stabs-parents-death-golden-retriever.html

Opening paragraphs:

"A teen who attended school as a 'furry' dressed as a dog has been accused of killing his parents and stabbing their dog - then sharing macabre images of the scene with fellow students.

"The schoolboy, 15, who is reportedly transitioning from girl to boy, was arrested last week in Groningen in the Netherlands and charged with double murder, according to Dutch outlet RTL."

Horrific story, but notable because this is a girl identifying as a boy who has apparently killed her own parents. She also identified as a dog, and, if the article is to be believed, she and her friends were allowed to attend school dressed as dogs.

NB The article is all over the place with pronouns.

I think it is notable in that there has been a spate of trans identified young people ( and adults) involved in murders ,killings, sexual abuse, child abuse - and given their tiny number - proportionaltely it is significant. It also points to a clear association/correlation between poor or disturbed mental health and trans identities.

Has there been a "spate"? Or have there been about 3 or 4 cases over a period of several years that have been hugely amplified by the media and by anti-trans commentators despite outnumbered by orders of magnitude by the number of offenses committed by young people and adults who aren't trans?

Yeah, the Mail famously ignores murders committed by white males. 🙄

Well to be fair there are so many of them that the paper would be full of nothing else and it isn't news unless there's something particularly different about it other than "man kills partner/ex partner" . If they cover the 2 crimes a week, plus 2 for every day of every several week trial the paper would have nothing else and be very boring. So only the most sensational ones make it to the papers.

Quillette wrote an interesting article on this.

Trans Killers and Gender-Affirming Care https://share.google/PqRaWfE9ghZDxE6bU

The fact that the last two mass shootings committed by females in the US were trans identifying seems noteworthy as well.

Especially if you consider that this represents c 25% of mass shootings committed by females in the US overall.

Interestingly, neither of the cases linked to above were included on my AI search of female mass shooters US. Neither, (I think) are they included in Statista's data on female shooters US, which states 4 lone female mass shooters and 2 further committed with men since 1982. 153 are listed as sole males.

But transitioning is helpful........ they will be suicidal if we dont accept them as they are........ this never happens.

Oh dear, yes it does. Often.

Exactly. Transition is sold as a panacea. As it turns out your mental health issues continue and people need to be made aware of this.

AspiringDreadfulMiddleAgedWoman · 28/06/2026 13:56

There was also Alec McKinney (born Maya McKinney) who was involved in the US shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch in 2019.

Her main concern when the police got hold of her was that she'd "been exposed..I'm trans and my breasts just flew everywhere..." Not concerned about any of the victims.

Thats right. She will have been completed affirmed and validated rather than treated for the underlying reasons of wanting to have some disconnected identity, hating her actual self and wanting to harm others. She needed therapy to deal with the likely ASD and trauma/SA which ever applied. That doesnt even happen in this country.

Services are completely captured.

It's 'diagnostic overshadowing'. As soon as trans is mentioned, everything else is overshadowed and not considered. Everything becomes about validating the trans identity.

Was abused if they were allowing her to dress up as a dog rather than stopping her? Unless the Netherlands is another of those places where sensible parents are told they must not interrere because 'trans' and therefore 'sacred'. This is a cult.

I agree that the effects of testosterone on girls needs to be fully studied. Also this pandering to this furry bollocks needs to stop. Its ludicrous.

ERthree · 28/06/2026 13:46

Where can a girl that wants to be a boy and dresses as a dog ever be "normal" why the hell wasn't this girl being cared for in a mental health facility? She obviously had huge problems before she killed so why the hell was she loose on the streets?
we have normalised " disturbed" . We are also bloody scared of not being "inclusive" that we won't step up and say someone is crazy, in fact we won't even use that word anymore even when it is bloody obvious that if someone thinks they are dog that they are bloody crazy.
We have created this madness.

turquoiseshell · 28/06/2026 13:44

I think these crimes by transmen and boys raise serious questions, which presumably no-one is looking into.

turquoiseshell · 28/06/2026 13:43

It seems that women simply don't do school shootings - with the exception of transman Audrey Hale I've mentioned in my last post.

And in the UK even school shootings by men are almost non-existent.

But here's an Edinburgh transboy imprisoned for planning, and getting very close to executing, a mass shooting at her private school:

The boy, now 17, was obsessed with the Columbine High School massacre in the US, which saw 12 students and a teacher murdered.

I agree that administering androgens to a teenage girl would increase the likelihood of her acting on any aggressive impulses.

ThatZanyFatball · 28/06/2026 13:12

Take a girl who's already so mentally unstable she goes to school dressed like an animal and instead of giving her therapy just pump her full of testosterone. What could go wrong?

YankSplaining · 28/06/2026 13:12

cheezncrackers · 28/06/2026 12:33

I wonder did she take testosterone?

It's a known fact that testosterone is linked to aggression, so if this girl was taking testosterone then she would presumably be more likely to act on violent impulses.

In addition, as I understand it, a lot of people who claim to be trans have mental health issues, personality disorders, SEN, are victims of sexual abuse, or something else that makes them feel that they don't fit in with society. The two things together are bound to equal a raised risk of violence.

A friend of mine from high school used to be just the sweetest person. Friendly and kind in a genuine, non-performative way, and just a great kid. Then in her early twenties, she decided she was trans, and it was like the testosterone gave her a personality transplant. Suddenly she was aggressive all the time and always picking (verbal) fights with people. I genuinely did not know who this person was anymore.

Re: something else that makes them feel they don’t fit in, she was adopted from an East Asian country and raised by white parents in an area with very few racial minorities.

caringcarer · 28/06/2026 13:05

If this girl was taking testosterone and her body not used to it could it have made her feel more aggressive? Very unusual for a girl to kill.

DangerousMind · 28/06/2026 13:03

CassOle · 28/06/2026 12:40

Move along. Nothing to see here.

Only, it isn't actually normal for teenage girls to murder her parents. It is sensible to ask if this teen was failed. Maybe there were opportunities to help her that were missed? Maybe her trans identity contributed to this, for example, perhaps she wasn't given the help she needed due to 'diagnostic overshadowing'? Was she given testosterone? Was this a contributing factor?

It isn’t normal for any teenager to murder their parents, TBH.

I think there is world of difference, in terms of mental illness, between the urge to transition or wear a furry costume and homicide.

likelysuspect · 28/06/2026 13:00

RoyalCorgi · 28/06/2026 12:01

Notable because it's a girl. It's rare for women to commit murder, and extremely rare for girls to do so. How many instances can you think of where a teenage girl has murdered her own parents?

And obviously notable because she was identifying as a furry. People on Mumsnet have been sounding the alarm about troubled teenagers identifying as furries for some time, pointing out that it's not a harmless subculture but a dangerous one.

Notable, I think, that the school was allowing children to come to school dressed as dogs - something the left has repeatedly assured us is a lie put about by right-wing outlets.

And yes, notable because she was "transitioning" to male. Of course it's relevant. The overwhelming majority of teenagers committing homicide are male. When a girl does it, you take note. There was at least one case of a school shooter in the US who was female transitioning to male.

Of course, you understand all this. You are, I would hazard, simply pretending not to understand it. It's so tedious.

Ive worked with a lot of 'trans' girls who are either wanting to be/thinking they are boys/identifying as male or alternative species/beings (whatever you want to call it)

I'll repeat again as I do on every thread, the 3 main factors are always present either jointly or singularly - ASD, trauma, SA

Many of them are very violent, you dont really read about it, it doesnt come to the press attention. By luck sometimes it doesnt result in murder, sometimes its just vioilent lashing out/criminal damage

They cause less physical damage/physical harm than males simply due to their size but they are just as violent.

Grammarnut · 28/06/2026 12:56

SunnySunnyDayz · 28/06/2026 12:05

Agree very unusual for being a girl, does the Netherlands allow medicalisation in children? I'd imagine testosterone could cause violence.

Obviously we know nothing, she was obviously mentally unstable, could have been being abused by her parents.

Was abused if they were allowing her to dress up as a dog rather than stopping her? Unless the Netherlands is another of those places where sensible parents are told they must not interrere because 'trans' and therefore 'sacred'. This is a cult.

The daily mail love doing stuff like this, reporting stories where minorities have done horrific things and using it to imply that the minority is dangerous and must be shunned. I bet if it was a cis teen who wasn’t a furry they wouldn’t have bothered reporting it.

A girl isn’t a minority. Nor a boy for other crimes.

It is however rare for a teen girl to commit an awful crime like this.

Ihateboris · 28/06/2026 12:45

Absolutely horrific. Children should not be allowed to transition. End of.
