All transwomen are to be moved out of Scottish female prisons today. 🙌🏻

Scotgov will not appeal and the current transgender policy has been withdrawn. At long bloody last!!

I seem to remember @ArabellaScott was working this out on another thread in the last few days, not easy to do from the wangled statistics, but it's certainly more than one. It will also stop a couple of well known offenders who regularly come in and out of the prison system from being inflicted on women again.

I mean, yes, finally, etc. But jeeeeezus all that effort and pulling and fighting just to get back to where we were some twenty years ago. I'm having a hard time getting over that.

Brilliant news! What a relief this must be for those poor women prisoners.

Ridiculous they held out so long and wasted so much money instead of working out the provision in the male estate that was needed from the start.
