Not sure what the problem is here. The Battle of Stalingrad is well known as being a gruelling battle that the Nazis lost and this led to a re-evaluation of their alleged military supremacy. It's become a byword for facing a tough battle, sticking it out and eventually coming out on top.

TRAs are so ignorant of history and routinely throw out terms like "Nazi", "genocide" and "right wing" to cover up the fact that they have no arguments to back up their ideology, of course they wouldn't understand what Rowling is saying here.

And, most importantly, WPATH really does need to be exposed and dismantled. It's a disgusting organisation that has caused so much harm. TRAs are particularly ferocious when WPATH is criticised because it's what provides most of the dubious "science" and "medical opinion" that they point to to justify their beliefs and get health authorities, lawmakers, etc. to adopt so-called "gender-affirming care".

Oh is this the part where we rewrite history and pretend the holocaust was actually really all about trans people and not the jews at all? 🙄

She is comparing gc women standing up to the assault on women’s rights, enduring and eventually winning, to the people of stalingrad who stood firm despite terrible conditions against attack from nazis and eventually won, making a turning point in wwII and helping defeat the nazis (in her analogy TRAs) I’d have thought that was obvious!
