It’s also Pride month (although, when isn’t it?) so they are probably whipped up by that too. Sex is real, gender is nonsense. And I say that as a Christian.

I come on here regularly because I'm GC and there's generally interesting and well-informed posts on here to support my position.
If i see boring or wind-up ('please explain all this to me') posts i don't bother with them.

It’s already the summer break for most in the USA - where a hell of a lot of the TRA energy and (un)reasoning comes from judging by the language used.

I think one of the problems is that there has been an increased number of threads about TW / TRAs. Speculating etc., etc..

Personally I dont think women, let alone gender critical feminists who believe in women's sex based rights need to "understand".

All that is important is that they, and all the hangers on understand and accept that women have the right to self determination about their lives.

It likes spending time discussing why men are violent. Unless you are one of those men we dont know. But we do know that women have the right not to be the victim of male violence.

Equally women have the right not to have their sex based rights impinged on by men.

I think (given the male ego) having threads about them just implies to them that really we are interested.

Far better to take up FWR posts with news, ideas, actions, frivolity, etc., etc., that are centred on women.

The latest batch seem to think TiMs are only male when they've committed a crime. I think they think this is some sort of compromise we can agree on. It is not.

You misunderstand.

Clearly the title of the forum, Feminism and Women's Rights (sex and gender) make it clear that this is an online space to allow those who want to further their understanding and activism in relation to that. Just as if a forum set up for Marxist is a place where those with that analysis can discuss and further their ideas.

This board as titled doesn't have to put aside its positive time to exchange and expand ideas from a common position to those who dont even share that position.

As has been said time and again, it is as daft as going to a vegetarian restaurant and sitting at the table and stamping your feet and yelling why aren't you serving meat.

This is a discussion board. Anyone is allowed to post here. You are not required to adhere to a particular opinion or belief to participate. You spend all of your time talking about trans people, so why shouldn't a trans person participate? If nothing else, what discussion do you think can be achieved by talking just to a small circle of people who all already hold exactly the same opinion as you? Apart from creating an echo chamber where misinformation gets amplified and extremism gets normalised?
