The “subset of men” we are talking about are the girls’ rapists and traffickers, not just some incidental men. That’s why their common patterns and features are relevant. This isn’t difficult.

The death penalty does exist in Pakistan however. A group of local Pakistani rapists were sentenced to death just the other day for the gang rape of a French tourist (in front of her young children) in Lahore. No wonder the grooming paedos live here.

Where on earth did I say I was blaming the victims? Have you read the victims account? It is a fact that in many many cases the victims had unstable home life or were in local authority care. This is a factor in how these men then groomed the children offering gifts and attention. Let me reiterate I place no blame whatsoever on any one of these victims. It is the perpetrators and the authorities who are to blame.

That’s not what I said. Their suffering is, however, being used for
political reasons. And I refer you to my other reply, which is - please read their testimonies and pay attention to the alcoholism, assault and rape in their own families. Where is the enquiry into those (presumably white) men?

My point is, this is a male problem and his “report” is skewed towards a sub set of men, quite deliberately, to whip up hate, which serves him. He literally starts the report talking about racism and immigration - this guy doesn’t give a toss for any girls. He would use whatever suits him for his own ends

So, @rosecoffeecup what do you think about the victim testimonies content? Please do explain your thoughts on That aspect of the report, rather than its' author or its' label.

I haven't read the report. Rupert Lowe may well have an agenda here, and I certainly have no wish to debate the death penalty, or deport people who have British citizenship.

However, I do get the impression that he believes what he says, unlike Starmer (who believes in nothing), Farage (who is out for what he can get) and Polanski (who claims to believe in any old tripe as long as it is to his advantage), and Ed Davey (who is trying to be relevant). (Kemi also believes what she says, but maybe due to so many years of Tory government is losing out to the other right-wing parties.)

And regardless of any other agenda or policies Lowe may have, I am grateful to him for his relentless pursuit of the rape gangs, when other parties have ignored or minimised them.

I imagine Lowe cares about these girls and what they went through as least as much, if not more, than many right thinking progressive types. And I mean that.

Rupert Lowe is a self serving charlatan and a grifter. He knows full well that the media and government won't comment on a report that has no legal basis, and labelling it an Inquiry is purely to mislead people into thinking it is a statutory inquiry when it is anything but
