The working class of this country have been dumped on by everyone beginning with Thatcher who deindustrialised their areas and left many of them unemployed from which they never really recovered. This continued with the Blair project to turn the UK into a high immigration, low wage, cheap labour country. Around the time of Blair, a narrative began of an idle, useless white chavvie underclass mainly promulgated by the posher media like the Guardian and that immigrants had selflessly come here to serve the country and rescue it. Lol. My family came here from Ireland. They just wanted to make money they couldn't have made at home. Nothing wrong with that,mind.

Upper middle-class, Fabian paternalism has always been a feature of the UK Left, particularly in think tanks. And since Blair reformed Labour it’s featured more in MPs because far fewer MPs these days have worked their way up through the old 'shop floor to floor of the House' pipeline.

MPs live lives that are very unlike the majority of their constituents and it very much shows.

The haughty left have a lot to answer for. From selling out women's rights to their disdain for the white working class people. The left who were once the champions for the working class and the poor and the elderly and the disabled appear just as bad if not worse than the 'cruel' Conservative Party. And how hypocritical too, forcing upon us, high immigration of millions of people from third world countries and dropping them into already poor and deprived areas. Telling people if you complain you're racist and not worthy of the right to have any opinion. So what if your hospitals and other services are falling apart. But not in their nice areas if you please.

The slandering of ‘Sophie of Dundee’ was like a replay, on a smaller scale, of the state’s vile denialism when working-class girls said they’d been raped by gangs of primarily Muslim men. Then, too, the men were often believed over the girls. Well, they were from an ‘oppressed’ minority whereas the girls were just classless ruffians hanging out in places they shouldn’t have been. That was the odious prejudice on which the grooming-gang scandal was built.'

Have to be thankful for cctv. As is happening more and more, only but for cctv or phone cameras and dash cams are the perpetrators charged and convicted. The authorities and media were more than happy to dismiss the girl's side in favour of the real criminals. I once thought increasing cctv would be an infringement to our liberty but not anymore.

I was also hesitant of facial ID being introduced but now it is becoming clear how important it is going to be. The police and authorities have lost control of who is walking our streets and coming in and out of the country.

Id rather they explained why they put out a statement lieing about her and blaming her claiming that cctv backed up his version of events yet when it was show in crt it actually backed up the girls version. Id also like to know why they subsequently put out another statement after the man and his sister were arrested which didn't name them or what theyd been arrested for whilst telling everyone what the girl had been charged with.

The police and politicians have many questions to answer and they include why this girl not only felt it was nesscary to carry them but did indeed need them to protect herself and sister from a violent sexually predatory man and his violent sister

I’m still waiting on a statement from the police as to why the girl had the weapons in the first place. It’s something that’s been very adeptly swept under the carpet amidst everything else being reported and commented on.

No he hasn't and hes been approached for comments from the Scottish daily express, the courier and the daily record but has so far failed to make any comment.

Both useless and his wife (a dundee councillor) were quick to call her a racist and smear everyone who believed her as far right. They seem very quick to call everyone racist as they did the same to a nursery when they didn't have space for their child, with threats of a lawsuit which useless quickly settled out of crt when the nursery counter sued.
Tbh he is the most racist person in Scottish politics but gets a free pass as his is anti white racism

Meanwhile another serious assault on a 17 year old girl in Barnsley yesterday. Stabbed from behind in the neck by a man. The footage is all over X and FB and it is horrific only a brief mention on bbc local news. Mainstream news appears to be playing the severity of the attack as non life changing but seeing the footage it is barbaric.

The child is not at fault here for protecting herself and the other girls she was with.

It is all the adults who failed to protect her and the man who sexualised her who are the problem.

She’s a child. A frightened child. She may be a very badly behaved child. But without the full, verified, facts I’m unlikely to condemn her or blame her for this interaction. I’m likely to think the adult male with a camera is at fault. I certainly wouldn’t be gleeful at the thought she’s to blame.

Stock mocked the children in her article, she didn’t just simply get it wrong. She saw that video, the why are you touching a 12 year old audio, the pure panic of the girls. And instead of believing those girls and considering why, why are the girls screaming, carrying knives etc (it’s pretty obvious) she made a joke about them, the victims.

Many commentators, fell over backwards to try and make the child victims the bad guys.
then people are asking why are they carrying weapons, see above, working class girls are not believed, it happened with the grooming gangs. If the police, the press, politicians, public are going to not believe you, instead mock you, not protect you, you’re going to try and do something within your power as a child to protect yourself.

Should children be carrying weapons? Not in an ideal world, but are some of them going to because of a history of adults failing them even if it’s not the wisest choice so they can have a feeling of safety and security that no one else is providing for them? Yes.

and it would be a tough conversation to have, the “don’t take a weapon out” one because the obvious follow up question, is going to be who or what will protect me then if I can’t protect myself? and the answer for many, is no one.

This girl at only 12 years old had the realisation that no one was coming to protect her. What tenacity to stand up to this vile man. What a world where children are literally fighting for their survival on our streets. When are our police force and political leaders going to recognise children? Not very.much has changed if anything over the decades. Our prisons are full and men are left to do as they please. The last thing I want is for children to be armed with weapons but attitudes to what is acceptable behaviour of adults needs to seriously change. Really tough sentencing and deportation for a start. We shouldn't be tolerating the low level crime. We shouldn't have to live like this.

There should be dedicated police officers in the community who are up to speed on child safeguarding and know how to respond to child victims. It's not difficult and they've shown they can get on board when it comes to gender identity and race issues. Why not prioritise our children with such zeal.

Apparently hairspray (very strong hold) is a substitute and is a completely reasonable item to have in a handbag
