Well quite.

It would also be very shocking, no? Men beating up other men because of how they're dressed? If this is the case, surely there should be FAR more focus on tackling such appalling behaviour?

But there's crickets on tackling men's behaviour. Instead it's all about pressuring women to give up their spaces. I wonder why? 🤔

I literally wrote "I doubt very much that you'd want anyone to be beaten up." I'm not sure why you wrote that it's bizarre to suggest you want anyone beaten up when I wrote the direct opposite. Maybe you misread.

You must surely see that a trans woman is a huge target for being physically attacked by men in the men's loos and that, if they have had much of their strength dissolved by taking hormones, it wouldn't exactly be a fair fight. I'm sure you wouldn't want an innocent person to be badly beaten, no matter their sex or gender.

I'm not failing to see the risk, I'm failing to see the evidence of any risk of men beating up transwomen in the men's toilets.

So I don't accept that they are being put in a vulnerable position by using the toilets designated for them.
It's bizarre to suggest that I 'want' anyone to be beaten up, just because I want people to do the right thing and use the toilets designated for them!

Mis-use of the accessible toilets by people who don't need the adaptations in them is unacceptable. An accessible toilet is not a consolation prize for transpeople.

There are millions of disabled people in the UK who have no choice but to use an adapted toilet; unlike transpeople, who are able use the standard toilets, but choose not to.

Why the hell should they use the disabled loos, if they are not disabled?

Disabled people campaigned for decades for the adapted facilities that they need, not that they 'prefer' or 'feel more comfortable using' or 'validates their identity'.

Disabled people need adapted toilets.
Transwomen do not.
Need.
Choice.

I don't see what the issue is with sharing loos with trans women. Most of you probably have done so and have no idea.

Sacrosanct is not practical. There's not enough space in most places for four spaces.

But there's not enough space for four different loo-spaces in many places. It's just not practical. The disabled loos are usually empty anyway. Why can't the third space be for disabled and Unisex?
