In actual fact much less “man” hours will be wasted if they offer this service for trans identified males.

It needs a test run, like man Friday, but just women, all needing the loo in 5 minute intervals.

This is so appalling I'm genuinely considering a trip to Sunderland to see exactly how they intend to conduct the promised toilet escort without me finding grounds to sue them. I live near Birmingham and struggle with travelling so it would be hard but I honestly think I might do it.

That's good to know - I looked at the 'Affirming Catholicism' website which says they
identify and celebrate the positive, inclusive and joyful currents which lie at the heart of the Catholic movement in the Anglican Communion.

So smells, bells, fancy vestments and pilgrimages, probably, but what about the awkward stuff like infallibility and transubstantiation and women priests and, importantly in this context, the Roman Catholic church's clear rejection of transgenderism?

'Quest', which is RC, also has to deal the same awkward RC stuff, and seem to be limited in what they hope to achieve, namely 'walking together':

As you know, they need to. Their history on this, including the John Smyth (ghastly man - plus all his enablers and protectors in the CofE) debacle is horrific.

Yes, I too don't get why putting women's physical safety and dignity at risk is considered worth it to 'protect' other's fragile mental health.

The church are trying VERY hard to sort out safeguarding, particularly led by the bishop of Newcastle IIRC. I’m sure I’ve heard her on radio 4 a few times talking about recent issues and lack of accountability by the church following the Makin Review

True, he's found a few less than helpful with his battles with bishops over the years. Still, even in his retirement years, he likes to stir the pot every now and then....

Ime there is a sizeable number of women in the CofE who have become priests in middle age, who are noticeably deferential and seemingly emotionally engaged with and grateful to the male clergy around (and particularly above) them.

She might be the be kindest person around.

However in breaking the law she’s not fulfilling her duties.

The church is Sunderland Minster. Inclusive Church promotes the full LGTBQI+ agenda, and thereby excludes many.
