Biological sex isnt a "belief", its a fact. Its delusional to think otherwise. It's impossible for humans to change sex. Some people might find that hard to take, but its the truth. Indulging these delusions is what has led to this mess of children being irreversibly damaged because they are going through a phase and were sold a complete lie.

It's always trans women trying to define and take over womanhood too. I've yet to see a trans man try to claim that they are literally men and have real testicles etc. In fact, many of them still go on to use their female bodies to give birth. That must really make the delusional reality deniers seethe with jealousy.

“If this was true, imagine the harm more than one person just living life could do to the gender critical crusade.”

This Is pretty funny actually.

No. The statement around detransitioners is relevant because it shows the ideological flaws that are highlighted by material reality rolling on despite any person’s ‘beliefs’. That is why you point is laughable.

There is no equivalence between a male person who demands people treat him as if he is female when there is no material reality to that claim and the experience of a person who once believed they were the opposite sex and then realised they can never be the opposite sex so re-established their identity to fit the material reality of their sex category in all that category’s body variations.

A person demanding to be treated as if they are the opposite sex to what they materially are, in no way disrupts material reality which simply abides despite all the attempts by that person to force their choices as being material reality.

A person demanding others treat them as if they are the opposite aex to what they materially are, is never going to be supported by material reality. Them making their declarations has no negative impact on the opinions of those who don’t believe those male people are female in any way or vice versa.

Detransitioners can be said to show one pathway where material reality reasserts itself. Whereas a male person who ignores female people’s boundaries and accesses female single sex provisions and demands use of female language, is quite the opposite.

Those male people are demanding female people ignore material reality’s existence in their demand for people to believe their individual subjective reality claims.

It is completely illogical to make this comparison.

We seem to have forgotten about the detransitioners.

Of course, there’s a reason why they are a subject carefully avoided by some. They give the lie to the fantasy construct that is genderism.

Presumably the same reason threads are derailed by personal anecdotes rather than addressing the catastrophic harm that's happened to so many children and young people.

Obviously I hate to agree with Trump but I do think the gender affirmation model has been incredibly damaging to children. The easy prescribing of puberty blockers then, almost inevitably, cross sex hormones can cause infertility and other permanent changes.

I do think children who are trans identifying need therapy not medicating as many of them will turn out to be gay or autistic. I think the Cass report recommended “watchful waiting” which sounds sensible.

I note the clinic will be free for a year but many of the effects from cross sex hormones (osteoporosis for example) will be lifelong and will insurers be willing to pay long term?

Why do you hate to agree with Pres.Trump? He lived up to all his promises to women his first day in office, the Federal govt sticking to a biological definition of women, Title IX to only refer to women not trans, stopping the federal funding of gender transition.
I'm a conservative but there are plenty of left Democratic women who appreciate what he's done.

No depths they won’t stoop to when harming children. Unboundaried people will commit all sorts of transgressions.

"hypogonadism" has been used since I transitioned.

Sorry, this was meant to be a response to @Shedmistress @ 21:31

Nope - you’re not a woman as defined in law. Not in UK, not in the majority of the EU and definitely not in the rest of the world.

You’re a man and if you died without ID a coroner would know you’re a man. People who interact with you know you’re a man.

People may collude with your mental health issues but that doesn’t make you a woman.

Mental ill health doesn’t allow me to self identify into another race, age, disability status, religion.

Why anyone thought they’d erode sex based rights is beyond me. But the correction is happening.

You may have certificated ‘gender reassignment’ but saying you changed sex shows the depth of your self delusion.

This is a belief, not reality.

I don't have a certificated 'gender reassignment.' Government administration had nothing to do with 'gender' when my birth certificate was changed.

Texas Children's Hospital were the hospital with 2 whistleblowers.

First, they were announcing that they were not doing paediatric gender treatment when they actually were.

Second was that they got around the medical insurance by registering the children as the wrong sex, and the diagnosis was that their hormones were low, so needed hormones to be at a normal level. Which is fraud.

Nice try, but I wasn't the person suggesting another person be excluded from discussion.

I am a woman, acknowledged by all but the sex realists on mumsnet who I've disclosed my adolescent transition experience to. Probably just a coincidence.

Edited

FWR members wonder why I spend so much time ('wanking again,' apparently) here talking about myself. It's because sex realist beliefs are wrong or inaccurate and cause all kinds of weird assumptions to be posted about transition.

After beginning oestrogen. I went from 4’10” and 80 lbs to 5’5” and 110 lbs in two years. My bones matured, as expected with oestrogen. Yes, I also grew some breasts. I never grew a beard, my voice never dropped.

Awwww and I thought it was because we were the nearest things to friends you had. Oh well. Now we know. You’re just in a rant again. #sadtimes

That is the universal definition of puberty, like it or not.

But you're welcome to live in your own little fantasy world, as long as you don't impose your fantasies on other non-consenting people.

What ever floats your boat? It doesn't change my life or my experience.

OldCrone · 16/05/2026 21:17

polypostwonder · 16/05/2026 21:10

Definitions exist because they succinctly describe a commonly shared characteristic or process. Common does not mean universal.

sex realist beliefs are wrong

Well, that's us told. Reality is wrong.

I suppose reality could be considered to be 'wrong' if you're a deluded fantasist.

So you disagree with the scientific definition of puberty?

For example:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK534827/

Puberty is the process of physical maturation where an adolescent reaches sexual maturity and becomes capable of reproduction.

Which is pretty much word for word what I said in my earlier post.

I realise you have a fantasy that you've changed sex, but you really haven't, because that's not possible.

Not this wank again. You didn’t experience female puberty, you grew some breasts due to taking a ton of oestrogen.

A non-zero percentage of people have progressed through and complete puberty never being able to reproduce. Are you saying they never experience puberty?
