They really believe that all the practicing Muslims that have joined the Green party will eventually 'see the light' and go against centuries of religious doctrine and agree that men can be women? I mean, that seems very unlikely. And why are people like the Muslim deputy leader of the Green Party going along with it and happy (ish) to stand next to what, in their religion, is someone that is exhibiting grossly offensive sexual behaviour? Are they really fine with it? If not, why are they pretending?

I just dont understand how such diametrically opposed people - ultra liberal hard left socialists and enthusiastic practitioners of a religion that has very firm and rigid segregation between men and women and what they are allowed to do, can band together in one political party with common aims. There must be an agenda at play.

They don't care. Of course, in work and media-exposure situations, a gender critical will be pulled apart for their skepticism.
But when it comes to Muslims, because of the Gaza situation, and this leftist trope that Western societies are Islamaphobic, the Top Trumps Game Of Intersectional Victimhood is in play again, Muslims get a bye on any views on trans that whitey would get cancelled over, because whitey is bigoted against trans AND them.
Combine this with the atheist/blank slate basis of socialism, that whole peoples can be taught to be less bigoted by living under a progressive umbrella, and thus any "old fashioned" views Muslims might have on trans will be diluted over time as they progressively replace their faith with progressive belief.

Do people like her think the muslim activists in the Green Party think TWAW, I always wonder?. Because I haven't met may Muslim people in RL that are particularly open to the idea of gender fluidity, and certainly none when I lived in the ME. How do they reconcile that if not?

Ex-Hackneyite here as well (now E. Anglia), with the total transformation of the area in two decades to the youngest median age in London, likely the country, it's no surprise it's gone this way.
Maybe the first thing Mayor Garbett will do is bring regulations in to stop the shrinkflation of food and especially coffee in the cafes on Broadway Market and in/around Victoria Park.
Other than that, maybe there'll be a wave of dyed fringes on residents to show their love and devotion to their new leader. At least hair salons might do well under The Greens.
Notable also that Norwich has gone Green insane as well.
Again, youngest area by far in Norfolk, a very LGBTQ/pro illegals type of place.
Makes me miss the days of Labour insanity in the 80s, Ken Livingstone's GLC, nuclear free zones in Lambeth etc.

Zoe seems to be unaware that trans people already have the same legal rights and equal access to services as everyone else.

I find them both pretty scary. One would repeal the Equality Act and remove the protection of sex discrimination, recognises that sex is real and might enforce single-sex spaces but along with it implicitly or explicitly impose gender stereotypes. The other would rewrite (actually or by word twisting) the Equality Act to remove the protection of sex discrimination and replace it with gender discrimination, with the consequent erosion of single-sex spaces and implied imposition of gender stereotypes.

What are Garbett's priorities?
Garbett is considered to be more left-wing within the Green Party, and helped to found Greens Organise, which "seek[s] to build the left within the party" by providing political education, broadening political strategy and increasing democratic participation and activism by Green members.

I think that totally misunderstands what is going on.

The main back bone of the "new" Greens are the (white) metropolitan elite who have a " conscience" about their privilege and want to be still be "trendy". This used to be Labour it cities, but is now the Greens.

They are probably all arts Graduates and can only afford to live in Hackney because mummy and daddy have helped them buy an overpriced flat. So of course as graduates they are all rainbow aligned.

The main Muslim population in Hackney is Turkish and Kurdish and dont share a political position.

Is it just me that finds Zack Polanski even more terrifying than Nigel Farage?
Farage at least knows what a woman is, although he’d prefer us barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen rather than having full human rights. We might at least get our own toilets and changing rooms.
However I just can’t see this weird coalition of Muslims and LGBTQ+ holding together for very long, so hoping they have a nasty break up soon.

As an ex Hackney resident, I'd say that many in Hackney thoroughly deserve a Green council (with apologies to all rational, responsible Hackney residents 😃)
