Amelia Connolly - of the Scottish Greens and previously independence campaigners is being held on remand in a male prison.

He has also asked to take back his earlier guilty plea.

Indeed. I marvel at how confident a lot of Greens are in this regard. They may very well win quite a lot of seats in the coming elections, but the darker "issues" beneath the surface of many of these male Greens (candidates or not) will come to the surface eventually.

How many candidates/supporters with criminal convictions for nasty crimes do the Green leadership actually want?!!

You'd think they'd consider rooting these people out, before standing next to them for photo opps.

A reminder that Connolly is remanded and trial has not yet happened so he is innocent until proven otherwise.

This man appears to be disturbed, deluded, and yes, vulnerable.
