Giving jobs requiring adult mental and emotional capacity to people who don't have it, is both irresponsible towards the people they'll be dealing with, and unkind to the individual concerned.

I would view almost any safeguarding session run by a Church to be as about as good as a chocolate fireguard. No experience of Scouts so can't comment.

My experience of CoE safeguarding procedures and 'investigation findings' had led me to entirely disregard anything they say and rely solely on the safeguarding arrangements on the organisations I am actually attached to which they have a relationship with. Their policies are so poor that we essentially treat them same as any random unregulated organisation and do our own checks accordingly.

That was my thought as well. None of his own descriptors indicate this man was appropriate to be given roles or responsibilities of any kind. Let alone a role to do with young vulnerable teens or adults. Where was the Green leadership on this and why wasn’t basic safeguarding followed? It’s as if trans becomes some sort of invisibility cloak hiding highly questionable behaviour.

What disability is he claiming to have that requires an electric wheelchair?

Are politicians supposed to have OnlyFans accounts? I'd think it unwise.

That's not suitable for all ages. That probably isn't suitable for anyone at all.

From Amelia’s response to the charges on his website he states:

Yet he advertises his OnlyFans account?? His website is basically a document of his narcissism and questionable activities that he advertises to the world, and the Greens have never picked up any red flags??!

Reform councillors/councils are finding this out.

It's easy to be the "party of protest", until you actually have to do some stuff.

They could really do with attending safeguarding sessions run by churches and scouts. The ‘build and they will come’ principle of safeguarding seems to be sadly lacking, and the youth they are attempting to serve are presumed to be more vulnerable than most. So they most definitely will come.

I suspect that like Reform, many Green candidates aren’t particularly au fait with political process/government. They may get lots of seats, but their behaviour will be scrutinised and they’ll find being a local councillor tedious and unrewarding in terms of ability to make a big difference. If you make a total cock up by declaring some virtuous policy which sends your council a hefty bill for no worthwhile outcome, it will be noticed. And most of what you want to do, you’ll be told isn’t possible.

There is also a pattern in so many TQ+ youth groups completely ignoring even basic safeguarding to the detriment of the children and young people who join them. These associations have become access all areas hunting grounds for men with fetishes.

That is a real problem.

Men who don’t try to break down women and children’s boundaries are not abusers by definition but men who do break down women and children’s boundaries in their day to day life are also going to have among them the men who abuse children.

It stands to reason.

If you are a male boundary breaker you are in among the subset of men who break the boundary that endorse and carry out abuse of children.

Grim.

And almost as though the people who are actually working hard to make society a better place are too busy to involve themselves endlessly in genderwang!

Remember when politicians saw themselves as part of the communities whence they came, and their roles as helping to better their communities, rather than better themselves?
