Honestly, this man is obsessed. He has now created a program to scrape and grade Mumsnet threads from this board.

What is this?

Oh yes, I have downloaded most of mumsnet and we will be doing embeddings of the content to try to understand how does the rot and hate builds and spreads.

I never had so much hate and delusion on my hard drive before 😅

100% cocoa chocolate is the absolute best. Especially the Montezuma one with orange bits in it.

Yes, it’s something of a misnomer. I always thought currants were dried, you know, currants, but they're grapes. Makes no sense.

When I was growing up in Lancashire many years ago, the dried fruit in Eccles cakes was always currants. Nowadays I gather other fruits can be added. Is nothing sacred? 😉😁

The first set of Aston "researchers" talked about Mumsnet having unexpectedly high levels of "priming", which is computational linguistics speak for "Alice used a word, which put it into Bob's and Carol's heads, making them more likely to also use it". My first thought was "I bet they didn't remove all the quoted text before analysing posts". The quotes repeat sentence fragments verbatim, creating an illusion of priming in the replies.

I think any research done on language patterns on MN and other sites like MN would be meaningless if they could not counter the quoting within posts.
