Well I'm sorry to say Eddie, that you're going to really struggle to find anyone to make that dream come true! It might be that you've never fancied men, but I can't imagine there are that many women out there that would fancy you! You are a man in womens clothing. And to selfishly want to bring a child into your mess of a life at the age of 64? Get a grip.
(I used to love his humour. I just can't look at him any more. It started with "I like to wear a skirt, why can't men wear skirts?" Then the nail polish, then the make up, then the full outfits, the name change and and now the abomination we see before us. Just no).

MN’s obsession with trans women has become so boring it’s actually starting to turn me - a GC woman who doesn’t think trans women should have access to female spaces - the obsession with it has become grating. I almost want to get all my male friends to dress up as women and go into ladies’ toilets everywhere just to annoy them! Give it a rest, I agree with it, but seriously “people are dying Kim”!

Bit of a joke in Private Eye and elsewhere. People tend to shuffle off this mortal coil soon after being interviewed by him. And then he does a sorrowful piece on the radio or in the DM saying how chipper they were when he had tea with them so recently.

Equally I think it's appalling that a person can change their sex on their birth certificate so that it is shown that the mother gave birth to a girl when, in fact, she gave birth to a boy. That is a falsified document as far as I am concerned.

Yes, I think this when you read of people who want to be falsely represented on their child's birth certificate - such as Freddy McConnell, who actually fought legally in a determined attempt to be registered as the father of the child to whom she gave birth.

It really smacks of wanting a child as nothing more than a little fun accessory to enhance your own life, and not really being particularly bothered about the life and the rights of that new person. It's bad enough when parents decide to actively burden their children with absolutely objectively ludicrous names, presumably just for the LOLs for them.

He is a heterosexual male so he could potentially have children as men can father children into their dotage.
He would though need a female of childbearing age.
I don't think there is an upper age limit for adoption (uk)but prefer the adoptee to be not more than 45 yrs older than the child.so options will be limited to
Private adoptions will different rules.
Surrogacy no upper age limit so may agencies world wide prefer 55 yrs or under.
He seems very entitled.

At some point Izzard must have realised that transvestism doesn't age well but instead of finding the courage to laugh at himself and what he's made of himself, he chose to claim victimhood and blame those nasty old transphobes.

Trans identification, with its fiction that anyone can be whatever sex they like anytime they like and that everyone else must accept it... that must have seemed like such a tempting way out of his situation. But in reality he's just snookered himself.

He used to stick it to the man. Now he is just a man sticking it to women.

I commented on this last night but I agree with a lot of the comments made since.

I was a huge fan of Eddie and I had every stand-up video he ever did. He’s witty, and funny, and spontaneous. I would still find those routines hilarious today - Darth Vader in the canteen anyone? 😂

I think that the fact he was brave and outspoken, unafraid to express himself, is why so many of us feel disappointed in him now.

He told us for many years that they weren’t women’s clothes, they were HIS clothes. And we all applauded his gender non-conformity. It felt like progress - a man being accepted and adored, even though he didn’t conform to traditional stereotypes. Wonderful.

And then the trans movement gathered pace.

Eddie pops up to tell us he was a woman all along. And he even has a tragic story to tell us of how he felt intimidated by two young teen girls when he was oh-so-innocently using the female toilets. Poor Eddie.

Of course though, Eddie, now Suzy, gallantly says he won’t get upset by the use of different pronouns. And in fact, he actually has boy and girl modes that he can effortlessly slip in and out of. The really handy thing is that he’s able to engage boy mode to scoop up the lucrative career opportunities. He doesn’t want to be hampered by the pesky gender pay gap so he just identifies out of that issue. Phew.

And then he also tells us that he just wasn’t into men and is attracted to women. It’s almost as if he’s still that straight gender non-conforming bloke that he always was. Surely not though….

Eddie is just another privileged bloke who wants to claim women’s spaces as his own. I suspect that the loss of his mother at such a young age plays a part in all of this. I can feel enormous empathy for him losing his mum while still thinking that he’s an enormous misogynist.

People are just talking about him. Nobody is hassling him. What you actually want is for people not to criticise him. He's a public figure, who uses women's spaces, who has deliberately frightened teenage girls as an adult male. People are allowed to discuss him and his behaviour. And to not like him, and even be rude about him.

You should say never when you are 64. How is that in any way thinking of the needs of the child?
