I know that mn doesn't work this way, but given that there have recently been 3 threads basically saying 'what's all the fuss about tg' , expecting posters to engage and rehash all the posts that have been gone over already, it would be great if could have FAQ pinned at the top.
Starting with 'Why do you all hate tw?'

I agree. To be honest I believe many of us could debate from their own position better than most of them.

You can be wrong in your premise and still debate intelligently. I was a keen debater at school, head of the debating society. We would be given a premise and then the two sides would be randomly allocated to the two teams. So you often ended up representing a view that you did not personally espouse. Therein lay the skill. (I once headed a team which won a national debate competition arguing the complete opposite of what I actually believed). Debating is not arguing, it is something different. If only the TRAs could examine the evidence and have a proper debate with us. I would be really keen to do so.

The problem with those threads is that people take the time and make the effort to post carefully thought-out, informed, nuanced contributions and these are then completely ignored by people who say things like "in my eyes a TW is a women", or just accuse people of saying things they haven't said. Without coming back to debate any of the points that people are making in an intelligent way. I have very strong views on this topic but I also love debate, and I find the level of discourse and proper engagement from the TRAs is generally very disappointing.
