When are we going to see a reckoning for the girls locked up for being victims of rape gangs?

Just as the title says. When are politicians, local authorities and social services going to admit to locking up girls rather than going after the perpetrators of these crimes? For years.

For anyone who thinks I'm talking bollocks, local authorities who have a secure children's home earn significant amounts of money by (I have seen) cherry picking girls 'at risk of sexual exploitation ' to be locked up indefinitely by charging LAs a fortune and no-one does anything to go after the source problem.

This has been going on for years and years.

It's a national disgrace that needs discussion at the very least.

Girls should not be locked up for being victims of rape.

Yes, I know girls do this. I also know police aren't doing their job. It is not the job of girls to sort out this shit.

Yes I would agree but I no longer believe that there has been any realistic intention to go after the perps. It a 'give up' policy. There is no prioritisation of girls in this whatsoever.

I mean court dates that go on and on. Look up section 25 orders. It's not like having a sentence. They can be (and are) repeatedly applied.

I have seen children locked up for over 2 years from as young as 12 having not committed a crime and being victims of sexual offences.

I would like to see all those who covered it up, or ignore it locked up. IMO they’re just as much to blame.

It still goes on now horrendously. My DDs mil runs a children’s home in the northwest and she’s forever on the phone to the police because these creatures are turning up trying to groom the girls.

I would like to see the lot shot.

@BettyBooper what do you mean by "locking up indefinitely" as nobody can just be locked up indefinitely without a crt order whether that's children or adults, criminal or mental health related
