I was surprised at how forcefully Khan was speaking. If that strength of feeling was real, it shows just how hypocritical he was to do the whole TWAW performance.
I’m sure that Polanski is fully immersed in the cult, and was shocked to hear a wokebro use the words “women” and “female” instead of the inclusive language he’s become used to. His party are all “birthing parents” and “pregnant people” and suchlike, so he must have found it jarring, but he could hardly scold and correct Khan, as they normally would if someone says the forbidden words, so he had to sit there mute and with a glazed expression.

Man 1 mansplains women's health to Man 2 who nods along as if he knows all of this already.
When it suits their careers, both men will still declare TWAW.

I suspect most woke bros think biology is real and matters but TW's sadness at not having female biology is also real and matters and therefore it's mean and rude and Nazi-ish to ever exclude TW from being treated as if they were a biological female.

And when individual TW behave in ways that suggest their motivations are not simply sadness and pain at having their essential femaleness at odds with their body, well those are just outliers and the real issue isn't the actions of those men and its impact on women, it is actions of the nasty TERFs bringing them up and how that impacts TW.

Well I did wonder about that. Part of me wonders if Khan isn’t a true believer after all, but may have felt he had to spout the mantra to not lose the media gigs. Or even his medical work.

Of course, he could just be another fool who just thinks men are the priority, or sees an opportunity to screw women over.

Yes, this was it for me. The fact he’d expected to be safe speaking to Khan, who’s been happy to spout TWAW, but who then goes on and on at length about how much biology matters. And Zach had to sit there and feign interest.

Realising that there are some pesky facts that could lead him into some awkward conversations about his misogynistic policies.

I thought Zack looked a bit put out at the first mention of biology....but the lack of awareness from Dr Khan about the sheer fucking hypocrisy of his TWAW stance beggars belief. And oh my god the mention of pregnant women, breastfeeding women I am shockedf that he didnt burst into flames at the heresy.

I agree that Zack looks more bored than anything else. Its just another issue he has to fake being intetested in while on the campaign trail. We are going to see a lot of that face.

I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that that’s the first time Polanski has ever heard of the problem Amir describes. It’s not likely Invisible Women is on his bookshelf. It’s all brand new information to to him I bet.

I love Amir. I think he’s fabulous.

Amir Khan seems to hold two definitions of women in his head, and use whichever fits in the situation.

His default is woman as sexist stereotypes and no woman only spaces. But when he wants to flex his education, he remembers biology.

Its win win, for him.

How Amir Khan can say this and yet also say TWAW when the media opportunity suits is messed up.
