The problem is that Germany doesn't have a well functioning feminist movement like the UK. Alice Schwarzer, Germany's most famous feminist, is 83 years old and no longer as eloquent as she used to be. There seems to be nobody who can make convincing and coherent arguments like Helen Joyce or Kathleen Stock and be strategic about how to tackle the issue. When I speak to my German friends a lot of them are gender critical, but based on intuition not on knowledge and facts. Most seem to think trans activism won't affect them.
