“My removal from the international women’s day event by the police.

I had been asking women’s organisations whether their services were for women only. This caused alarm and distress and the venue, claimed to be privately owned when it’s owned by the council, asked me to leave for asking questions.

I have footage of every interaction that I will upload later so you can see what those questions were and you can judge for yourself.”

Oh dear... you are, and not for the first time judging by your posting history, rather missing the point.

I repeat my earlier statement, facts you find uncomfortable don't cease to be facts because you find them uncomfortable.

The clear, verifiable facts that many actual feminists and activists for women's rights have publicly severed all association with Parker due to - again, those pesky facts are creeping in here - her repeated, clear, factual racism and association with far-right ideology should really be suggesting that perhaps, just perhaps, you need to think critically and question your own motives before compounding your foolishness with your futile attempts to attack anyone who calls Parker out for exactly what she is.

My moral compass is fine; how's yours?

Can you point us in the direction of a proper genuine 'GC feminist' that went to an event on IWD and asked about single sex spaces?

Nottingham is getting up there with Brighton and Bristol.

I'd be interested - very interested, as it happens - if you'd develop this point.

I suspect I know precisely the psychology at work here, but I'd like to see how you explain it for yourself.
What do you genuinely think you are saying here?

Oh dear... you are soooo far behind the times your post is now actually funny.

Pro women is not anti trans, nor being pro women a far right movement. Do keep up.

No - especially the ones with AK47s

"She can be divisive but I admire her tenacity and she along with any other woman has every right to go to an event for women without facing harassment"

But it seems like she was allowed to attend, reportedly upset other women at the event so was then asked to leave by the organisers and refused to do so.

Don't the other women there have the right to attend and not to be "harassed" ( on camera ) by her?

That depends on what she said, doesn't it? I can claim that your post harassed me. I wouldn't be right, but I can still say it and if enough other people scream along I can get you deleted. Should I do that? Of course not, especially since the terrible thing she apparently did was to ask if it was for women only or women and some men. Bearing in mind the Supreme Court judgement that sex is biological not chosen and gender critical beliefs are protected, I'm at a loss to know what's harrassing about it. I can see it might upset some people, but that isn't the same thing at all.

I think we'd understand this better if we knew more about the situation. Could you elaborate, please?

You just know it was a misgender, which is literally trans genocide

Nottingham is getting up there with Brighton and Bristol.

Come the elections, local and national, this needs to be raised loud and clear to the voters in all those places. I'd suggest 'Women! Vote for people who know what a woman is and remember that you have rights too!'

Waheymum · 06/03/2026 21:28

I'd comment that my friend does not verbally abuse women, and that you can't judge an entire group of people based on the actions of some of them, otherwise we'd be terrified of everyone.

I think we'd understand this better if we knew more about the situation. Could you elaborate, please?

Shithotlawyer · 07/03/2026 15:13

It's such a shame to hear I am not well versed enough in the made-up academics of some made-up dogma.

At least law tells the truth about itself, that it is invented by humans for the ongoing debate of how we live with one another, and because it allows itself to be changed by intelligent processes over time, it broadly speaking is consistent and makes sense.

Thistleton · 07/03/2026 13:59

Shithotlawyer · 07/03/2026 11:37

God might not "hate" any believers or indeed non believers but if any humans do things he doesnt like, like wearing the clothes of the opposite sex or not praising and honouring him all the time, he will condemn them to punishment in the shape of not allowing them eternal life. "Hate" might not be the right word but you're dancing on the head of a pin here.

God, as described in the Christian religion and its various sects, is not a cool guy who likes everyone, he punishes and disapproves of lots of people and lots of behaviorus. Jesus might be more loving to some extent, but he's also ok with slave owning and various other things, and anyway he is part of God according to the doctrine of the Trinity, so they are both accountable.

I still can't see why a trans person would not be offended by the Christian religion which doesn't really accept them nor want them as a member. And at the same time get offended by other humans in a different group (gender critical women) saying something similar. And even more egregiously getting annoyed that a gender critical woman points out the harsh standards displayed by God as described in the Christian religious texts.

Oh please........ shit hot lawyer you may be, shit hot theologian you are not.

Floisme · 07/03/2026 13:28

Here's what Cynthia Mee, who I believe helped set up the first women's refuge in Nottingham, had to say about this episode and about KJK:

'I was one of the women who opened the first women’s refuge in Nottingham and now at 82 I am absolutely disgusted with the women’s centre. How dare they let us women down by bowing down to men. I thank you Kellie-Jay from the bottom of my heart for what you are doing. '

You know what, I think I'm going to listen to Cynthia.

Good! She verbally abused a close friend of mine that happens to be transgender a while ago and really damaged my friend's mental mental wellbeing. I think there are ways to protest without verbal abuse of individuals.

What type of event was this and in what capacity was your friend there?

HeadDeskHeadDesk · 07/03/2026 13:07

What on earth is the point of the police employing a Communications Officer who fields questions by saying he's not there to speak on behalf of the police? I mean seriously? Is this what our taxes are paying for?

So do I. What a shame so many of the transgender community and their supporters don't use them.

IF she did as you say then I'm sorry but I think you'll find that she deals with more than her fair share of abuse so I'd like to hear her side of the conversation too.

It's absolutely crazy, isn't it?
The question could have been easily answered with "yes, we're a women's organisation only" or "well we also work with men in xyz circumstances".
The fact they can't answer without getting upset is ridiculous.

Exactly. It’s absolutely telling that this was the reaction.

Doesn’t matter who asked the question, it’s the response that is the issue, especially the response from the police.

Helleofabore · 07/03/2026 12:23

If the PCC team or police officers cannot reassure women that they are protected in meeting together or in seeking police assistance in maintaining female single sex provisions on IWD, they really are not fit for purpose.

That the PCC team and the police officers cannot provide a reasonable answer to questions about this is a significant issue. They know this is an issue that needs women to be assured. This really does fit the remit for IWD and these teams have failed.

Datun · 07/03/2026 12:01

They've got no-one to blame them but themselves.

The assistant police commissioner saying it's nothing to do with me, I'll hand you over to the comms officer, who immediately says I can't answer that it's a police issue.

Utterly falling over themselves to compete for the Beclowning Award.

All KJK has to do is stand there and be normal.

Walkden · 07/03/2026 10:25

"Did anyone say that they would happily talk to her but didn't want to be filmed?"

Well she filmed "every interaction" so what they wanted didn't matter apparently....

But did anyone actually request that she stop? So that they could speak to her?

The assistant PCC won’t speak to me and her comms officer can’t string a sentence together.

"What is the fucking point of any of this?"

KJK straight to the heart of the matter as always🎯All this 'pro-women' stuff is completely performative. A few scraps from the table to keep women quiet. As soon as the blokes want something, women get sold out without a moment's hesitation.

Personally, I've no time for Posie Parker or for those who support her and I'm pleased to hear that Nottingham police took this stance.
This is not about silencing women, however much some people - including Paker herself - would like to believe it is; it's about the removal of a deeply repugnant figure who uses her platform to spread hate-speech.

Parker is infamous for her aggressive right-wing stance, her repeated praise of far-right figures such as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (Tommy Robinson), and her ties to white supremacy groups and ideologies (she has repeatedly written for right-wing publications such as The Spectator, is on friendly terms with neo-Nazi and holocaust denier Hans Jørgen Lysglimt Johansen, was interviewed by the far-right network Soldiers of Christ Online, and used a Barbie doll wearing a Nazi uniform as her profile picture on the social media site Spinster).
And those are just a tiny handful of examples; a full breakdown of her associations to the far-right would require an entire thread. Probably several.

Where anti-trans and women's rights are concerned, she's no less controversial.

Jean Hatchet, a genuine GC advocate and activist, cut all ties with Parker over her neo-facist affiliations.

Her hostile behaviour is so bad that Woman's Place UK - itself a group opposed to gender self-identification for trans people - had to cut links to Parker citing "her stated views on race and religion" as the reason.
Under pressure, that same group had to reiterate their continued distance from her in 2022 when they supplied evidence of her racist social media posts as continued justifcation for their position.

And let us not forget the overwhelming global opposition to the hate she spreads. After her Australian rally was attended by a large number of neo-Nazis (and not just ideologically; actual Nazi saluting neo-Nazis), her subsequent attempt to hold rallies in New Zealand was met with such opposition that Parker - rightly in my view - was compelled to leave the country.

So, in summation, I repeat that we should be very careful tying ourselves to figures like this simply because one aspect of what they're saying aligns with our personal beliefs.
She is not a champion of women's rights. She is a hate-filled, neo-Nazi sympathising, racist who feeds off controversy and then cries foul when society in general says "No, we are not going to accept you in our community".

Oh dear... you are soooo far behind the times your post is now actually funny.

Pro women is not anti trans, nor being pro women a far right movement. Do keep up.

What?

No Christian has to think God hates them, even the most horrific criminal. That's actually the opposite of what Christianity teaches.

So no, not illogical on that account anyway.

God might not "hate" any believers or indeed non believers but if any humans do things he doesnt like, like wearing the clothes of the opposite sex or not praising and honouring him all the time, he will condemn them to punishment in the shape of not allowing them eternal life. It's a successful formula which will never go away.

If you are saying you're protecting women, empowering women, supporting women, you have to bloody define what one is and actually protect them, not throw them out for asking.

You're never not going to look like a complete twat, unless you figure that out and grow a spine.

Having watched some of the footage, it does seem that there is a determined inability to define women by the very people who say they are there to protect women. It has a chilling effect.
