Sisters Heal have shared this post from a trans identified female they are supporting. As the writer has given permission for it to be shared I have posted it on here.

The motivations for male and female trans people using women’s spaces are so opposite aren’t they?

Males motivated by AGP, euphoria, seeking validation.

Females motivated by trauma and their undeniable female biology.

I'm not sure what she'd make of the involvement of the trans-identified woman though as she is quite against that ideology in all its forms.

What was the involvement of the trans-identified woman?

She helps to facilitate group walks that they run. She was the one subjected to the reddit post linked to earlier, her response is here.

Arran2024 · 11/03/2026 16:38

I complained to the BBC about the article, particularly about speaking to a shadowy group like Terf Watch and giving them a platform. They responded to me today to say that it's fine because Ms Hayes directed them to the group and suggested they ask for a comment.

I find this extraordinary. They are not taking responsibility for their own editorial choices but rather blaming someone else. They didn’t for example acknowledge that this group could be seen as problematic, while giving it the right to comment.

I have responded - will see what they say.

I'd be interested to see. I saw footage of her being removed. I'm not sure what she'd make of the involvement of the trans-identified woman though as she is quite against that ideology in all its forms.

the Black women, the Jewish women, the Muslim women, the trans women

So offensive.

Should say the trans-identified women.

I came across the article by chanceby the Council leader praising women in Brighton.

Was going to add a comment about this event and the disgusting behaviour by terf watch and has somehow got myself in a loop so am not registered to comment.

I'm going to try and sort it out later, but if any one else thought they might like to tell the Council leader about how women in Brighton are being harrassed and banned from venues because of men, this is the link https://www.theargus.co.uk/news/25918665.council-leader-bella-sankey-power-brighton-women/

'Brighton and Hove have a really strong ethos of sisterhood'

Last Sunday was International Women’s Day. An important day each year to celebrate girls and women.

Sisters Heal were at the same event as KJK in Nottingham yesterday. I wonder if they came to her attention? I got the impression all the orgs there were completely captured and TWAW.

Sian Berry didn’t even condemn the TRA attacks on Filia. She implied it was their fault for holding the event in Brighton, so good luck with that.

Well not surprised and Labour would be just as useless.

I wonder if Sister Salon (I think that is what they are called) could do something as they are a Brighton based group.

I'm not in Brighton so may have missed developments, but are they no women's groups or even proper adults in Brighton to complain about there being anti social, intimidating, anti woman groups harrassing vulnerable women.

Is this 2026 or 1826!

Is it worth writing to their MP. Although I wouldn't know which one of the three it would be!

Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven: Chris Ward (Labour Party)
Hove and Portslade: Peter Kyle (Labour Party)

TERF watch are beyond a joke aren’t they? Posting more Instagram pictures of Sisters Heal staff and writing a Substack about how Sisters Heal are definitely not being harassed.

They are, but there is nothing remotely funny about this level of harassment. It's designed to intimidate and silence women.

I do not understand why they haven't been reported to the police.

Not asking Sister Health to do this as they have enough to cope with, but surely there must be women of some sort of feminism in Brighton, the Brighton area who can report them.

This is stalking.

This is intrusion of privacy.

This is encouraging violence against women.

This is intimidation of provision of women only (sex based) support service which is legally allowed in the UK.

Presumably there are no local politicians in Brighton who could be asked to investigate.

Is there a Women of Sussex group?

They are completely nuts but I think most people want to be kind and be a good LGBTQ ally and these activists do a really great job of convincing people that women’s groups like Sisters Heal are transphobic.

I don’t think most people realise there is a world of difference between these activists (who are completely nuts) and regular trans people just living their lives.

I think a significant proportion of all trans people are just as nuts. The reasonable ones are few and far between, though the woman attending sisters heal seems like a decent person.

Bluntly, personality disorder. I really hope she has good support. Its unconscionable that they talk about her in the way that they have, the heartless fuckers.

The most shocking thing were the OP’s responses to her though one of them has been deleted by the moderators as it was too egregious even for them. The OP is also a trans-identified woman but very much sucking up to trans-identified men with talk of solidarity and ‘transmisogyny’. Just like the real world, the men are centred above all else.

Reading the Reddit Thread was like stepping into a parallel universe, where up was down and in was out. They're nuts, everyone knows they're nuts right. 🤯

Yes presumably by her father who was raping her from the age of just 7. Truly horrendous abuse. How could anyone react to that story by chastising her for seeking some support?

Those pesky trans exclusionary women going about including women who are trans its almost like they aren't actually trans exclusionary at all.

Exactly!

Make it make sense!

It's almost as though we aren't excluding people on the basis of being trans at all... but on their sex...? Who would have guessed?!

Also, logically, if say a Transman is a man, then if that ‘man’ becomes a woman she is really a wonderful, brave, transwoman.

That post from the trans man is heartbreaking. There should be no need to justify getting support. It shows that as long as there is full transparency, and the women are made aware beforehand then including trans men in women’s service can work.

Yes, sad she felt the need to justify herself but I can see why from the way she was being spoken about. Imagine being a survivor of that kind of abuse and coming across a post where your so called community spoke about you like that. I hope she’s ok.
