Obviously I'm happy for her that she's happy to be having a baby. But when she was in her mum's stomach waiting to come out, did the world think she'd decided what gender she was when she was older? You're right Paloma, gender doesn't matter at all, so why enter in to the ^gender debate, ^why mention gender at all. All the videos people make of their "gender reveals" are actually of sex reveals but understandably people don't want to say "come to my sex reveal party", because let's face it most people would think it involved keys in a bowl. I do think Paloma Faith is a bit silly, she’s clearly neurodiverse and needs some help with coping strategies, and I vividly remember her struggling to breastfeed her last child but completely ignoring all the advice on resolving the issues and then spouting ‘fed is best’ when she predictably switched to formula.

But on this she’s right, just not in the way she thinks she is. It doesn’t matter if her baby is a boy or a girl, and we shouldn’t be doing the pink & blue gender stuff. It’s the stereotyping from birth that is causing the ‘gender confusion’ in children. Let kids be kids, let toys be toys and let clothes be clothes.

I thought we were finally getting to that point (wear what you like etc) but the trans insistence on stereotypes is pushing us backwards

Most people haven't "argued" because they knew what I meant. Some have just to pick holes.
Of course what she said was do lally, because she conflates identity, sex and gender. Gender is just a word, it isn't the same as our identity which is the whole of ourselves encompassing our character, interests, biological sex, sexual orientation and lots of other things. Some we can choose, but our sex we can't.

well exactly. That was how she was found to have lied about her age as well! not even by a year or two but knocking nearly half a decade off. You've got to be pretty stupid to think you'll get away with that as a celebrity, as everyone you knew growing up will obviously know how old you really are!
