So you posted an unclear post with the hopes of ‘gotchaing’. Well done politicising your grandmother.

You threw up the grok translation of an interview claiming the boxer says she has a Y chromosome (though it is in parentheses and there is no context for whether that is a grok creation or some reference outside the video?). For all I know she has transposed SRY on an X chromosome.

Sex realist beliefs extend well beyond today and trans people and attempt to rewrite the history people and families.

She was very ashamed of her condition and never told my mother, though she told me for some reason. She had what would be called PAIS.

If your grandmother had PAIS then your grandmother was indeed a male person. Your grandmother had testes that were producing testosterone that your grandmother’s body processed in part.

There is no way around that factual description. CAIS is the condition where the body cannot process the testosterone it produces.

It is you who has just used your grandmother’s condition politically. No one else here.

So, she didn’t have ovaries? If she was tested, maybe instead of attempting a gotcha and political leveraging of your grandmother’s medical condition, you can explain which condition she had.

By the way, both my mother and my aunt were adopted by my grandparents during the war.

She had XY chromosomes. Care to clarify the position?

By the way your grandmother birthed your mother, she is clearly a female person.

Are you seriously attempting the 'female with high testosterone' approach here? Shall we point out to you that the female healthy range of testosterone doesn't cross over with the healthy level of testosterone for male people. And before you jump in and say, what about PCOS etc, by 'healthy', I mean anything over the range is an indication that there is a tumour.

Happy to point you to the information, if you can be at all arsed to read it.

But no... if you are implying that your grandmother had 'high testosterone' just like any male athlete that has to reduce theirs to compete with the current IOC regulations, you would be very badly misinformed and yet again showing a misogynistic point of view.

And your continued lack of any knowledge about female biology... while falsely claiming to have it.

By the way, both my mother and my aunt were adopted by my grandparents during the war.

That is just more misrepresentation from you though.

Would you like to point out why any of us would?

Mumsnet would have called my maternal grandmother a man, also.

The obsession with trans women protects no one.

You just quoted a post about a male person with a DSD. Khelif is not trans and I don't believe you will find any informed poster on MN that says differently.

Here is another male person who keeps referring to himself as a female person. This is the latest.

The grok translation :

"I have female hormones. And people don't know this, but I have taken hormone treatments to lower my testosterone levels for competitions."

"Yes, and it's natural" (on having the SRY gene on the Y chromosome).

"For the Paris Games qualifying tournament... I lowered my testosterone levels to zero."

"I'm not transgender. My difference is natural."

If Khelif doesn’t make clear he is male and is seeking medical care, he is potentially causing himself harm

And for the zillionth time… ‘female hormones’… a male person taking exogenous estrogen at female levels never makes a male person ‘female’, nor does a male person removing the production of testosterone temporarily or permanently make them ‘female’.

It is misogynistic to say that it does.

Helleofabore we are wrong kind of woman.

The kind of woman that doesn't fawn and bend over backwards saying yes.

Nothing we say matters cos he doesn't want to hear it.

Yes Red. You are quite right.

That is why there seems to always be a misrepresentation of our beliefs in these posts as a discrediting attempt. The misrepresentation of views labelled as ‘sex realist’.

It must make the poster feel better to demonise those who reject the concept their belief is based on. Yet, it also just continually shows that the poster really lacks anything but a superficial understanding of what feminists believe as well as the biologically established facts about female bodies.

But like the male people who have shouted that I am a nazi and a fascist in my face, it is meaningless. Because their facts are just wrong whichever way they wanted to explain it.

Well, if you use female single sex provisions in the UK despite the clarification that was handed down on Friday, that is your personal decision.

And you do it knowing that not only can it cause female people* distress but it is not lawful in many instances. You cannot even claim now that 'no female people have complained', because we have. We have told you on these threads.

Not sure how many more times you need to hear it from court judgements or from female people.

*female people being those who were born with a body formed around the production of large gametes, regardless of the production status of those gametes.

I did. Decades ago. None of this has affected my life or those around me since then. I don't plan on changing anytime soon.

It is completely irrelevant why you decided to have your body parts removed. No surgery or hormone treatment made you female despite your claims.

If someone told you that it did make you a female person, please take it up with them. They were very wrong to do so.

Have you posted your results on Reddit like all the popular trans folks do?

ETA- I should point out that this is a rhetorical question. I don't expect onepost to answer. I am just pointing out that posting post op gentital pics is common there, so it is a bit rich to accuse us of being obsessed with genitals.

Edited

After all that explanation, I feel I owe you an answer.

  1. No. I've never had a reddit account.
  2. Ew.

There were multiple reasons why I had genital surgery. One of them was to have a genital configuration 'near enough' to the sex I was living. Another relatively major one was the law of both the countries I was born in and living in required genital surgery for sex change recognition.

Not once have I regretted it. Although my surgeon was a misogynist and extremely patronising he was known for and performed excellent work. I would do it over without a second thought more than thirty years later though I am glad I do not have to.

Says the man who was so obsessed by his own genitals he had extreme plastic surgery on them.

I think I'll take the unusual pass on your DARVOs.

I think you're right that 'near enough is good enough' has been the goal of sex reassignment surgery through the ages. What this man received is nowhere near good, let alone near.

Sex realists appear to be the only people obsessed with everyone else's genitalia and how they come by it.

What is interesting is seeing discussions such as this in action:

Interestingly Kane has repeated some of the trope we have seen on recent threads here lately about every cell in his body being 'feminised' (or whatever word he used). And that being so feminised there was no way to go into the male single sex toilet, all the while using a sex by deception example to justify his belief that 'people cannot tell' what sex he is.

Even his falsehood that he isn't even a 'transwoman', he is just a 'woman'.

Despite the very obvious cues on that interview that he is very much undeniably a male person. He did highlight the fallacies that some people use though.
The 'I have been a transsexual for decades' and 'I am not a transwoman' fallacies used to describe why a male person is unbelievably a female person.

It is remarkable to see the falsehoods in action on national TV.

Mate, your passive aggressive "Sex realists appear to be the only people obsessed with everyone else's genitalia and how they come by it" that was meant to shame me, really just shows how you need to try to discredit any person who points out the material reality that no male person can ever be a female person.

No matter what surgeries, no matter what manipulation of language and no matter what drugs a person takes.

The point remains. Any male person who claims that their body is now a 'female' body is using the 'near enough is good enough' rule of thumb which is just another form of misogyny. Because female bodies are not male bodies that have undergone extreme modification to create a 'near enough is good enough' simulation.

onepostwonder · 17/02/2026 16:55

Helleofabore · 17/02/2026 09:39

Of course, any male who has their penis turned inside out also doesn’t have the cavity created in the same position as vagina. Same if it is intestines or any other artificial material used for that cavity.

I reckon that is yet another ‘near enough is good enough’ dismissal from male people who are desperate to use it to declare they are female. Little also realising they have reduced being female to being a hole while some of them mistakenly declare feminists saying only having a female body is ‘bio essentialism’.

Near enough is not good enough.

No male person can be a female person and it needs to be clearly noted that cavity seen into a groin is not a vagina. And even after decades, is not a vagina.

I think you're right that 'near enough is good enough' has been the goal of sex reassignment surgery through the ages. What this man received is nowhere near good, let alone near.

There is no help out there for him or the other men.
However a particularly nasty women surgeon (dr yeet the teet) is now offering clitorecotomies (type 1 fmg) to detransitioning women to deal with the enlargement of the clitorus caused by testosterone use.
Just when you thought that the horrors of "trans health care" couldn't get any worse it reaches new lows

His post-surgical condition is neither aligned with the standard of care or allows intended function. He, like others who were cut up by butchers, did not consent to this. My sex reassignment surgery over thirty years ago was (and is) completely different to his description.

Clitorectomies sound like a bad idea to me. I'm not going to stop an adult from having a surgery they deeply seek and believe will make them whole.
