Dunno about that, you can easily be a bisexual woman married to a man. My husband is a bisexual man married to me. People who meet him now would just think he's straight. Which is fine. But it doesn't change who he is.

I know 2 people who claim they are queer whilst being straight. Both are women married to men. I don't see why they feel the need to fly the rainbow flag to feel special whilst being the same as the rest of us.

I have a friend thats a lighting technician for big tour type productions and goes on tour with bands and singers etc.

If they are working with hip young things, he comes home more like them. So the rappers? He is in box fresh trainers. The proper musicians, he carries his guitar everywhere with him. The grunge types, he let's his hair grow and so on.

Then he comes home like that, it lasts about 3 weeks and then he goes back to his old self.

This is just that isnt it? Hanging out with theys. Become a they for a bit. With the added bit of keep it up for the promo stuff.

The sad thing is that we can all see through it. An actor, acting.

I think it was Rory Kinnear who remarked in an interview that whatever part of themselves actors access to generate their performances, in most cases, it sure ain't their brain.

Obviously, she can't know what it feels like to be a gay man. It's a homophobic statement, just as men claiming to feel like a woman are sexist. Actors can be such prats! Actors aren't necessarily airheads, especially ones focused more on character & theatre work rather than photogenic main leads.

I agree that people who inflate their work are annoying, you can take it seriously without doing that.

Ironically, Olivia Colman is arguably a character-focused person generally promoted on acting ability rather than looks,,but she seems to have unluckily become preoccupied with being down with the kids
