I studied the latest Epstein files. As a woman, this is what I felt

And the absolute cognitive dissonance of having daughters but seeing nothing wrong in abusing young women the same age as their daughters.

A prominent New York City restaurateur, Stephen Hanson, a friend of Epstein, emails him to call an unnamed “girl” a “rotten bitch”. Hanson’s association with this person he calls a “psycho out of her mind bitch” is threatening his relationship with his — irony alert — daughters.

https://19thnews.org/2026/02/epstein-files-academic-research-women-scientists/

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at the hatred and contempt Epstein had for intelligent women (well, all women). Bit depressing how many men of science went along with it. I would sort of hope that they were just toadying to get funding...but nope they probably do actually believe this. I knew that media, entertainment, politics, royalty was infested with this shit but I naively thought that men who were into scientific rigour, facts and whatnot might be different. Silly me. How bloody depressing.

It is disgusting that scientists and academics are such pigs. And disgusting that such pigs are protected by their institutions including Harvard ie Martin Nowak and his ‘near miss’ (wtaf). Only as recent as 26th Feb that he’s been placed on ‘administrative leave’ despite the university conducting an earlier investigation into his relationship with Epstein. Just what was he doing in his evolutionary dynamics lab that would interest Epstein?

And that grim email from Robert Trivers who coincidentally also studied evolutionary biology at Harvard. These men lost or never had a sense of humanity but where the hell are the university heads in all of this? Others would’ve known. A heady mixture of anything goes ‘progressiveness’ where nothing can be called out and deep misogyny seeing women and girls as nothing more than body parts to be used.

Sorry, it was forty women in four days, not ten days.

Whichever way you cut that up it's bloody damning, and O'Neill didn't even mention it.

And it's my belief it's because he doesn't really notice it. Certainly not enough to make it in the slightest bit relevant to his article.

I agree. He’s not focussing on the women at all.

RavelsDancer · 06/03/2026 01:09

I meant the Kampusch case, which the clever cookies named after the victim, not the perpetrators, as they should have.

Bloody hell, I missed that (the forty women thing) - was that in the Epstein files?

Disappointing of O'Neill yes.

Edited

It wasn't the Epstein files. It was his biographer.

I hope he's just been contrary for the sake of it. Because that article missed for me.

Apart from anything else, Andrew having forty women delivered to him in ten days is enough, as far as I'm concerned, to condemn him out of hand.

It wouldn't be the slightest bit surprising to me if another man didn't see the misogyny inherent in prostitution generally, and forty women in ten days, specifically.

I still think O'Neill is a brilliant writer, though. And when he gets the bit between his teeth and goes all creatively rude about trans ideology I laugh my arse off.

I think someone can be completely sincere in their defence of women/girls/children's rights in one area and also blinkered. There are people who are very cynical about "defending women and girls" who have no real intention to make it safer. But equally there are many (maybe most) people who can be very angry about injustice in one area and unable to see it in the other. Quite possibly ONeill falls into this group.

The problem is ideally we would just have justice delivered in a timely fashion. Unfortunately when it isn't sometimes the only thing to get it moving is Newspapers conducting investigative journalism, tabloids reporting on the lack of progress, public anger. That can turn into mob justice and that's bad. But people engaging with the news and feeling outrage at justice denied isn't. And when it comes to very powerful people, often that outrage is the only reason they eventually see the inside of a court room. So trying to say it shouldn't be expressed is wrong.
There is a tipping point where it becomes counterproductive. But people wanting someone to face a fair trial as most people do for Mandleson and AMBW is a healthy thing. And the opposite to vigilantism.

Brendan is a contrarian in both good and bad ways.

I've thought this about him for ages and so, in recent years, it has been quite a surprise to me to discover that I've enjoyed some of his excellent articles on social issues, e.g. his strong support for women and girls.

But I can still disagree with him on other topics.

From reading a lot of his writing over the years, I like to think I can spot his contrarian articles, vs his sincerely held beliefs articles, and I get the strong impression that he is a true supporter of women and girls. I've also seen him interviewed about the subject on various podcasts and it does seem to bring out a different side of him than when he discusses other topics. When he started learning more about AGP he was visibly disgusted and outraged at the thoughts and behaviours of these men.

We will agree to disagree, clearly. I don’t trust him, especially knowing how keen he is to shock and outrage for the sake of it.

sweetsardineface · 05/03/2026 10:52

I find this chilling because it’s so impersonal. These fuckers see all women and girls (except their daughters and mothers) in terms of their sexual usefulness to them and the other men they associate with. They were involved with Epstein primarily because they were rich and/or powerful, not because they were perverts. It’s impossible not to believe that millions of ‘ordinary’ men would have joined gladly, had they had the opportunity.

lcakethereforeIam · 05/03/2026 09:58

His Renee Good article was spot on. I've not read much about the Andrew formerly known as Prince or Epstein (I'm managing my expectations) I hope he get what he deserves but that includes proper justice. If Brendan is speaking out against the language of the mob I'd likely agree with him.

I agree. I think he’s got it wrong about Andrew and Epstein but it’s clear that his main distaste here is the social media frenzy, and mob justice. Rightly or wrongly. He wrote another article recently calling out right wing commentators for their lack of compassion for Renee Good. I think he’s quite true to his principles generally.

Especially when it seems his support for women and girls was just part of being contrarian-in-the-moment. Which, if you’ve been following O’Neill for years, is no real surprise.

Although one difference being that, in that clip, Cunningham does actually know Betty's name. I bet Epstein and his pals forgot most of the names of the girls and women they exploited. Just interchangeable, instantly forgettable "P" to them.

I think, and this is not a unique failing of Brendan Op Neíll or even any one political position, that O neills support for women and girls is probably more dependent on the surrounding circumstances than he wants to admit or even realisés himself

From the article letsallchant linked:
" Epstein was introduced to Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of the British media baron Robert Maxwell. Their first get-together, arranged by a mutual friend, was at Epstein’s office at the Villard Houses, she has said. When the domineering Robert Maxwell learned that his daughter was spending time with Epstein, he contacted Ace Greenberg and Jimmy Cayne, both of whom he was close to, to see what they knew about their former Bear Stearns employee. Greenberg and Cayne apparently vouched for Epstein."

Ace Greenberg was at the start of the timeline- at the start of Epstein's ascent. His daughter dated Epstein for a while and according to the article she said he "lied about everything". Either she didn't tell her father what he was like, or she did and he ignored her or just didn't care.

Did anyone else see Brendan O’Neill weeping big fat tears for poor, “hounded” Andrew Windsor in The Spectator recently? (Brendan, mate - pipe down, nothing’s actually happened to Andy yet, let alone gone “too far!”)

Give a man even a skerrick of power and it seems as though, 9 times out of 10, he'll start raping women and girls (with his mates).

Frankly, I've no faith at all left in men as a demographic, and no respect for them either. As they say, one bad apple spoils the bunch, and it seems as though the good to bad apple ratio for men is closer to even when given the chance.

I've also got no hope that the men involved in these files will see any kind of real consequences. They have too much power and influence. As Yoko Ono said, 'woman is the n--r of the world', and as Germaine Greer said, 'women have very little idea of how much men hate them'.

Yes. Thank you for spelling this out.

Brenda, it hasn’t gone far enough. Why do you care about this particular lying paedophile?

This is a very sobering thread but really important - let’s keep it going.

I would really like to know what all the "secret" phrases the paedophiles used for kids mean. Yeah, we´re talking 12 year olds. Trump alledegly made a 12 or 13 year old give him a blowjob (sorry for my language but I dont give a fuck anymore, I´m a survivor too I guess, but not of this cabal obviously).

If someone could suppress their gag reflex long enough to do this kind of research, I think knowledge of these terms could be really useful in finding other paedo networks online via AI. Humanity would own you big time. Also identify all of the rat catchers (the women tasked with finding new victims, who were former victims themselves in some cases)

I know "grape juice" in the Epstein files has something to do with "gang rape = grape" (hahahha, god they are just so edgy arent they, these 50 year old, decaying mummy eternal nerd boys). "Pizza" has something to do with female childrens genitals, and "hot dogs" with boy´s. These are not conspiracy theories. Someone really needs to investigate their dumb-dumb language.

There is a deeply entrenched paedo network in my country too, which allegedly includes doctors, lawyers, military cunts, child psychologists, politicians, the higher uppers so to speak. They have disappeared people in the early 2000s, and their network includes owners of funeral crematorias. This never made as much waves as the Marc Dutroux case, for instace, but still enough to make some people talk about it to this day. Shame it got zero international coverage and litlle to no coverage in my country, too. The detective who was supposed to investiage a famous case (a global scandal at the time) was found shot by suicide in his garden, with his right hand scorched and holding the weapon (he was left handed), for instance. This is central Europe, right now.

I´m often wondering if like 90 % of males are secretly paedos. It´s really the only explanation, if you keep Occams razor in mind. Because otherwise, these cases would be solved and Epstein would never have risen to the top of society.
