How can trans girls be men? They are boys.

i didn’t ask if you could understand that girls might feel boys (trans girls) might be predatory did I?

please answer my question. It was quite simple.

I share the belief that trans girls are girls and trans boys are boys. Unlike some gender critical people, I would not refer to trans girls as men.

I guess I cannot provide an answer that is acceptable to those with gender critical beliefs.

There's a version of similar questions asked of people with a trans person in their life. The results are different.

Kings College did a study and 39% of respondents thought that trans rights had “gone too far” and a substantial group didn’t know or were unsure. Maybe your generation managed to operate on stealth but in campaigning as you have done, you’ve spoiled your own party. It’s over. The 39% figure is only going one way the more people realise that “ be kind” actually involves being very unkind to women and children.

No one in your life will tell you the full “truth” of what they believe. If your performance here is anything to go by, they’d avoid saying anything contrary to you, in order to dodge being mansplained for (?) days. It would appear you have high levels of mind blindness not to have an inkling of this at your age

Men and boys are not women.

Girls are in her shower area, etc, etc. They are not given access. They access, as girls.

Edited to add: If that is indeed the policy. Gender critical beliefs could twist the intent of the policy any which way.

Re Your edit

You plonk yourself on a thread to advocate for yourself.

Your choice of thread to plonk on is about a teen girl being forced to allow a male (such as you claim to be) have access to her body in what should lawfully be her female only single sex space.

You are clearly enjoying your activity.

No, they still show a majority against 'puberty blockers for under 16s'.
52% to 31% with 17% 'not sure'. The percentages against opposite sex hormones or surgery are even higher.

Yes, for some questions there is a majority against. I would answer against those same questions as stated.

But, for the vast majority of other questions those in the "Have family member or friend who is trans" column are far more supportive of trans people than those outside the column.

Greyskybluesky · 06/02/2026 09:10

People who were born male are not, and can never be, women.

FallenSloppyDead2 · 06/02/2026 09:09

I understand women who prefer that we don't engage with certain types of poster. I think that there are times when it is helpful to engage and times when it is derailing a fast-moving, information filled thread. If an OP, such as @SingleSexSpacesInSchools, asks us to stop then I would. Otherwise I think operation let them speak continues to have value for lurkers. I lurked and listened to both sides before coming to a conclusion (that gender ideologists are batshit).

You are upselling your strong and firmly held belief that
• if you can just change the meaning of girl and of woman that
• your advocy of allowing men and boys have access to the body of the OPs teen girl
● is not you advocating to allow any man or boy gain access to the body of the OPs girl.

I accept that some girls may grow up being taught that trans girls are predators and are men they should be afraid of and absolutely under any condition should not be acknowledged as girls. I accept other girls may grow up learning that trans girls are girls, belong and should be included as girls as they will grow up as any other girl to be women.

I accept each group of girls could be encouraged to accept their environment or fight against the status quo. I imagine that adult influence would also have a massive influence positively or negatively on how a girl would feel in such a situation.

Her feelings are very real and should be heard. Resolution, if needed would take place within the rules and culture of the school. Just as any other feelings about situations would require.

Rather the OP should thank the adults in the school for deciding to force his girl to change beside a boy just because that boy said "I want to do that"

Awful though it is, there will be people in that school who genuinely think exactly this. Maybe most, if not all of them.

That the school promoting inclusion, being kind, being 'progressive', are all things you should be bloody grateful for.

The detriment to the girls, and the fact that is they who are being sacrificed, is fucking nowhere. Doesn't even crop up. Why would it? That's their job. Dur.

i'm copying this from another thread, even though it's about women in sport, the attitude is identical.

As one leading male sports journalist argued, in a 2019 column for The Independent: “Let’s say transgender athletes pour into women’s sport, and let’s say, despite the flimsy and poorly understood relationship between testosterone and elite performance, they dominate everything they touch. They sweep up Grand Slam tennis titles and cycling world championships. They monopolise the Olympics. They fill our football and cricket and netball teams. Why would that be bad? …In a way, it would be inspiring.”

Exercising the most violent misogyny inspires this nasty fucker. And he's happy to write about it in a national newspaper. Paid for it, in fact

Urghh. I remember this article.

Written by a man who has no fucking idea.

You haven't got the first idea of what it means to be a woman @onepostwonder or about safeguarding.

You know how you feel. Not how women feel.

Gender critical beliefs paint every experience and belief I have as predatory and incompatible with safeguarding. So, I am not surprised?

Helleofabore · 06/02/2026 08:54

Here is a reminder that safeguarding is only expected to minimise the chance of harm by predators. No safeguarding measure for publicly accessible provisions will ever provide 100% protection. That is not achievable.

Also, safeguarding principles are not only those that minimise the risk of physical harm, but they also are there for many other areas of protection. Including privacy and dignity within groups of people categorised by sex class.

That's how predatory beliefs have been embedded in our society. Maybe the Epstein revelations are giving major clues as to the nature of too many adults running our society.

Yes!

People seeing that it is absolutely the most powerful, the richest, the most influential men who have flocked to that fucking island.

Realisation is hitting that yes, these men really are sex crazed, porn soaked misogynists. Really, really woman hating.

So of fucking course this disgusting ideology has been allowed to flourish. Encouraged too, in fact. Driven to.

It's an absolute testament to women, globally, that they have managed to put the brakes on it all. It truly is.

And some men, obvs !

It's hugely depressing to see.
Unlike many, I wasn't at all surprised that a PM who claimed women can have a penis, who oversaw the bullying of Rosie Duffield & countless other women out of the Labour party for standing up for child safeguarding and women's rights was quite happy to ignore all the evidence in the public domain about Mandelson's involvement with a convicted paedophile.

He'd already shown us who he really was. People just didn't realise what he was saying at the time.

AnSolas · 06/02/2026 08:46

Datun · 06/02/2026 08:09

Anyone arguing with this at this point, needs scrutiny.

Yes. The longer this goes on, the more it can't possibly just be ideological. There are too many people determined to push it.

If nothing else, this thread has shown the breathtaking self interest driving these people.

We've said it a thousand times, if you dismantle children's boundaries and make it impossible for them to object, who will you attract?

But but but

Nasty wimmn should not point that out in school setting.

Nasty wimmn should stop talking about the prevention of sex offending.

The OP should mind his own business as acting to safeguard his girl a disgraceful idea.

Rather the OP should thank the adults in the school for deciding to force his girl to change beside a boy just because that boy said "I want to do that"

BezMills · 06/02/2026 08:46

I've been following this saga from the get-go and I also agree that the Good Laugh Project "getting involved" (in the loosest sense possible) is going to be worse than a man short for the respondents.

I'm all for people giving JM money - I think it's brilliant how he turns all that spare TRA cash into losing court cases. Some kind of retired tax-lawyer legal alchemy!

I'd love to see the books where he turns those donations into his own billable hours and GLP overheads. I wonder how much goes anywhere else but...

This.
I've now stopped tiptoeing round this issue. If you insist that children have no right to privacy from the opposite sex when undressing, then you're promoting predatory values.

For too long society has been coerced and silenced out of safeguarding children. Remember, one of the first cohorts of children targeted by transactivists were children in the care of the state - those in foster care and children's homes. There's a reason for that. These children, isolated and away from their families, were told their confusion and uncomfortable growing bodies could be cured with a sex change. Not surprising that children in care are over represented in this vulnerable cohort of children.

With little or no resistance from the adults charged with their care, they moved on to schools and everywhere else children gather. Which is why we now see senior staff in a school arguing that girls have no right to privacy from certain boys when undressing, showering, sleeping and all the rest.

That's how predatory beliefs have been embedded in our society. Maybe the Epstein revelations are giving major clues as to the nature of too many adults running our society.

We need to remind people that if you impose the belief that girls have no right to boundaries and privacy from men, then you're working to de criminalise indecent exposure and voyeurism. It's that simple.
