@SingleSexSpacesInSchools
The Children of Transitioners group have previously published their submission to the UK government regarding the negative impact on girls caused by male 'self ID' into female spaces and the determination of this group of men (ie who lie they are female) to ignore and over ride normal female boundaries of bodily privacy and consent :
childrenoftransitioners.org/gra-inquiry-submission/

The Courts have also already ruled that children do not exist to validate a transperson's delusion/ fantasies.

Hope some of that's useful !

Thank you for these!

I am pretty sure that our current me-railer is a returnee poster who used to flutter into threads and ensure they filled up. They know exactly how to post to ensure that someone will continue to respond, no matter how many of us try to discuss the original topic. I think you may have to consider this thread lost as a discussion of GLP involving itself in your fight @SingleSexSpacesInSchools . However I’m also sure that you will continue to update us as and when you can in future threads. Thank you for fighting for your daughter and all girls.

Yep.

I'm curious how GLP know about the legal action. Have the school told them or has JM seen the press articles and thought he'd just independently set up a new grift?

Communal changing rooms separated by sex are normal in the UK both in schools & workplaces. Where do you live?

I've already agreed that no one should ever be forced to be naked in front of another person.

I continue to be shocked to learn any institution in this day and age would be forcing 13 year olds to be naked in front of anyone. Has anyone told the authorities? Based on this board, I would have suspicions that nakedness isn't the real focus.

The answer you are fishing for is:

Make pathways to and through transition harder than anything anyone should ever successfully accomplish. Begrudgingly allow those very uncommon few to overcome the cultural hurdles, source resources, convince skeptical medical providers and make it through to a subjective and highly regulated socially invisible and isolated post-transition life.

This was what my life was like 40 years ago. You wish to send everyone back to the 1980s.

No.

Edited

Trans was only invented about fifty years ago. For the young it's a delusion. For older males it's a fetish. I don't think we should pander to either in their quest for body modification any more than we should allow bodybuilders to take anabolic steroids in their quest for body modification.

TiredOldHen · 06/02/2026 13:48

At my son’s high school they have a school football team and a girls football team. The football team is generally called the boys team but does include one exceptionally good female player ( she plays for an academy) no suggestion she is anything other than a girl whose good at football. I doubt a boy would be allowed in the other team though I don’t think anyone has tried.

The adults in the school may want to run with an unwritten policy but that is the adults choosing to failing to carry out their functions.

Policy cant be hidden away and not written down.

Once the school decide to break the law and allow unlawful mixed sex they must justify why they are breaking the EA10.

Also the board and Head cant decide they can run an undocumented ad hoc decision making process. To do that opena the school up to by anyone and everyone who is inclusively excluded from the provision.

Case by case without a robust preemptive safeguarding framework is the adults in the school choosing to not safeguard.

and yet....

You are right of course on every point. So we shall see what we shall see in the near future.

I'm wondering this. If there is boy's football and girls football session on separate pitches, where is the boy-who-wants-to-be-a-girl playing?

My experience so far has been that at the point where they divide the sexes for PE, there's a 3rd category for kids of both sexes who aren't massively into the school team sports. They do athletics, racquet sports, mixed handball, gym etc

I don't know how common this is, but it's been great for my son who's very fit but would get snapped in half by rugby and isn't into lads bantz.

JudeyJudey · 06/02/2026 13:06

Sorry, if I've missed this, but is there any legal action on the horizon?

SingleSexSpacesInSchools · 06/02/2026 12:16

well indeed. I genuinely do not know what they would do if a trans identified female insisted on playing on the male rugby team? It's all hidden and case by case and never written down... deliberately

Schools are supposed to act as a ‘prudent parent’ would whilst children are in their care, according to the DfE. I wonder how many prudent parents would be fine with their daughters changing with boys?

RedToothBrush · 06/02/2026 12:21

SingleSexSpacesInSchools · 06/02/2026 12:03

Mixed. Believe contact sports like rugby is sex separated though

How can they separate for one thing but not another on the grounds of safeguarding?!

That's almost worse because they absolutely KNOW they just don't care!

@SingleSexSpacesInSchools

Yes the reason I and others kept on discussing does serve a purpose to a certain point. It gives those who are new to this the facts and reasons we have safeguarding. It has been pointed out many times that women and men on here are talking about the safety of girls, not themselves. OnePost said there is no answer to my safeguarding questions on women and children - it can’t exist if it doesn’t centre OnePost. It was made very clear.

Moving on, this seems a good place to add this again for anyone new to this. Several years ago, when I was researching ‘inclusive design’ I kept coming across references to two Americans. They have a big company advising schools and other businesses on adding inclusive toilets. They were quoted over here for ‘evidence’ for Part M of the Document T consultation. First is transwoman Susan Stryker, a Professor in Gender Studies. Susan was recruited by Joel Saunders, an architect. I have listened to his lectures available online. He says his original influences for his career in design were taken from design elements used for cruising in male public toilets and incorporating them into homes. Stryker’s work is more boundary breaking. Neither have a health and safety emphasis. Their designs weren’t tested or analysed.

Some of their earlier articles:
Susan Stryker: https://aaa.org.hk/en/like-a-fever/like-a-fever/on-stalling-and-turning-a-wayward-genealogy-for-a-binary-abolitionist-public-toilet-project/type/essays

Joel Sanders: https://www.architectural-review.com/essays/profiles-and-interviews/interview-with-joel-sanders

Remember these two were quoted as evidence for enclosing cubicles (for Part M feeding into Document T) and this government-commissioned report’s remit was to look at people with long term health conditions. There was no discussion on why enclosing cubicles isn’t a good idea but there was also no mention of many long term health conditions either. However in this report there was discussion of non-binary crotch heights for urinals. Periods were only discussed in terms of transmen - no mention of endometriosis. Their reason for recommending enclosed cubicles in the evidence listed is this sentence, ‘A better solution, supported by many transactivists, and increasingly found in trendy nightclubs and restaurants, is to eliminate gender-segregated facilities entirely and treat the public restroom as one single open space with fully enclosed stalls.’

Knowing what I know about what goes on in trendy nightclub and restaurant toilets, this is not down to health and safety. This is creating an environment to accommodate privacy so misuse is ‘out of sight, out of mind’ to the proprietors. It is the opposite of safeguarding. Safeguarding used to be having traditional single sex designs and accessing the only mixed sex, private toilet with a radar key. Edit to add: In schools the unisex toilet was and still is listed to be opposite reception for closer supervision.

‘treat the public restroom as one single open space with fully enclosed stalls’
Interestingly is a design that was suggested by Beth Upton for changing rooms in Fife as well as now being a new design used by secondary schools around the country for toilets. It has been shown to be a disastrous design choice around the country too
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/education/drug-dealing-drinking-dirt-problems-28517175

It’s time to align schools to stronger health and safety regulations and legislation.

It's very hard to know to be honest, there is no written policy, maybe a trans identified female has tried to self ID into male contact sports and been refused? Or maybe they have never asked

@SingleSexSpacesInSchools So relieved you have raised this abuse and gaslighting of girls in school. On page 1 of this thread I posted a couple of links to the 'Children of Transitioners' group website and their written evidence of what they need in school, including single sex spaces when undressed and staff who don't lie or try and coerce them into lying males are female.

The group have also published an article on the Transgender Trend website about how schools trans policies affect children like them, particularly the safeguarding failures and distress caused by the coercion:

https://www.transgendertrend.com/schools-trans-policies-children-of-trans-parents/

Hope that's helpful.

What is the impact of schools trans policies on children of trans parents? - Transgender Trend

Children of trans parents are routinely ignored in schools trans guidance and policies. How is this group of children impacted?
