I have no visibility into how trans integration happens at schools. I would hope it would be done with care and empathy for everyone. If non-trans people decide to attack the process and turn it into a personal crusade and feed a larger political movement, I think that's despicable.

Do you even know what the thread is about? Integration clearly ISN’T being done with care and empathy if girls are being forced to undress with their male peers.

You don’t have to have any insight into what happens in schools these days to know that is wrong.

I. Me. But I. Me.

Seriously.

It's not about you.

Schools can not tell if some is trans or not. If they are doing no harm they have to assume they are not and prevent the oppose sex being affected.

Otherwise they are not safeguarding.

Adults can make decisions that are irreversible when they have capacity to do so. Children can not.

Schools should not be telling someone they are trans or not. Schools ideally should accomodate trans students based on request from the student or combination of student, parent and/or medical personnel.

Decisions concerning irreversible medical treatment can and does occur thousands of times a day. Childhood social transition is 100% reversible. I imagine childhood social detransition would be just as uncomfortable as transition, maybe more?

True, but the thread has been selfishly derailed. No way would a trans originated thread on Reddit allow GCs to lord it. I tip my hat to the women here who on too many occasions to count go thru this dance of a TRA landing in the discussion, sucking up the oxygen, treating the gatecrasher with decorum and reasoned arguments, and the spoiler just thumbing his nose at you all.
Reminds me of action on the streets, almost no GCs go to shout and swear and abuse at trans gatherings, but LWS meets, and GCs speaking at events are invariably harassed intolerably.
This here is just another sad example.

The derail shows in bleak and clear language why males fight to gain access to female only single sex spaces.

Where an objective is to exclude some other males .

Where the objective is to exclude the women and girls who have a lawful right to female only single sex spaces.

When a poster is offering up access to the body a tween girl it is clearly not a mistake or a misunderstanding.

Its a choice.

A poster may try to dress up the objective with pretty words or a multiple block of text.

At the end of the day when a poster is saying that access to the girls body is non-negotiable accept that such a poster holds a strong and firm belief that access to that girls body is non-negotiable.

Yes. And do we both agree that your statement ‘If you say you're trans you're trans. If you say you're not trans, you're non trans’ doesn’t work for safeguarding?

It is a horrible policy for anything but acceptance of how a person says they identify. As you illustrated, there is often context to the statement what we can continue to build and/or tear apart. I think people are tired of having beliefs challenged within the gender critical hive mind.

But you want more - you want them to be in the same room as the girls when they’re unclothed.

Eveyronehere wants children with trans identities to receive appropriate healthcare - we’re not debating that.

They are men. They were convicted as men. They both used ‘I identify as a woman’ just when they were in the toilet. One put on a high pitched voice but that is the only attempt of changing anything ‘manly’.

But they said they were trans so according to your statement they are trans. Just for the toilet. I am showing you the flaw in your statement.

No one thinks they are trans. Not even them.

Then we both agree they are not trans.

I've already agreed that no one should ever be forced to be naked in front of another person.

I continue to be shocked to learn any institution in this day and age would be forcing 13 year olds to be naked in front of anyone. Has anyone told the authorities? Based on this board, I would have suspicions that nakedness isn't the real focus.

Can you answer any of the following questions?

What do you think happens when a girl uses a shower and a changing room in a school?

Or to break it down :

What happens when shower water is applied to children using a shower?

What do you think happens after that?

Do you think the child walks into their next class still covered in the residual of the shower water?

Is it possible that the school has an expection that the child applys a remedial process which would result in the child removing the residual shower water before attending the next class?

What may this process involve?

Good advice. The only benefit is that it is keeping an important thread about safeguarding children and the abuse of girls by a school using gender ideology as a tool to erode their boundaries and safety, close to the top of the board.

I am so pleased you are taking on this case. You are famously clueless about this area of law and your record is unrivalled. I actually find it quite reassuring that you are fighting long-established School Regs. Every time you do something like this, you draw attention to the absurdity of your beliefs.

If it were up to me, I believe trans children should be supported and receive treatment. What treatment means to a particular child is up to the child, their parents (to some degree) and their medical provider(s). Nothing more, nothing less.

Can I suggest MNers here don't engage with this person anymore. This is a pure spoiling operation. And totally OT, this loose cannon totally disrespectful to the author of this thread.
This person can go and set up their own thread and see how many takers they have.

Based on what I could see (there was a paywall), they both are claiming a trans identity based on a criminal strategy. Thank you for demanding I narrow and specify my original statement. I suspect you can come up with several other people who gender critical folks believe are prime examples of trans people?

You are using children to properly up your own life. Women and girls are less than nothing to you.

The answer you are fishing for is:

Make pathways to and through transition harder than anything anyone should ever successfully accomplish. Begrudgingly allow those very uncommon few to overcome the cultural hurdles, source resources, convince skeptical medical providers and make it through to a subjective and highly regulated socially invisible and isolated post-transition life.

This was what my life was like 40 years ago. You wish to send everyone back to the 1980s.

No.

There speaks someone who's never been a teenage girl undressing for a swimming lesson in a communal changing room.

The lack of insight into the lives of women and girls is quite startling.

Bloody hell, the gaslighting is ridiculous.

It's your assertion. Yours. You said it.

I have spent over 40 years in womens spaces. In toilets, changing rooms, shared sleeping accommodations.

You've been oppressing women and girls for 40 years by entering their spaces without their consent. It's unlawful.

Stop it.

Trans people are not oppression.
