Any chance that this might finally force Phillipson's hand on the EHRC guidance, does anyone think?

It’s suddenly occurred to me that they could have been waiting for this judgement??

"The Tribunal’s judgment concludes: “We were unclear what was meant by the submission that the policy was ‘lawful’ and deeper consideration of the argument led us to conclude that the policy of permitting biological males who identify as women to use a female changing room was not ‘lawful’.” The judgment then points out that the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 requires an employer to provide changing facilities which “include separate facilities for, or separate use of facilities by, men and women where necessary or reasons of propriety”."

This is great news.

Yes the proper use of the 1992 health and safety regulations at last.

The gaslighting is off the scale with that one.

The absolute brass balls to re-define the word 'inclusive' to mean 'exclusive of females'. Because we know many women can't use a space with men in it - religious women, women who've suffered trauma and women who just don't bloody want to get changed in front of pervy men!

Just out of curiosity, which changing room do trans men need to use? Would any females mind a male presenting 'woman' using their changing room and WC?

This bit of the judgement is sh*te: "It is likely that the lack of insight is wrapped up in Rose’s unwavering belief that their presence in the female changing room is no threat to anyone and that they are simply asserting their affirmed gender by going about the ordinary routine of getting changed in an environment which feels natural for Rose and which has the authority and permission of the Trust."

No normal person would have asked why other people were not getting changed. Would "Rose" dared to have asked a man whether he was getting changed yet?

Trans men don't have male genitals. With the current medical techniques it is not possible to grow or build male genitals from a female body.

The majority of trans men have female genitals.

Some have cosmetic surgical alterations to mimic the external appearance of male genitals, with varying success and unfortunately very high levels of complication. These interventions are both very damaging to the body and even when successful, limited in what they can actually achieve.
