Andrea Egan elected as the new leader of Unison, the UK's biggest trade union - wouldn't be happy supporting Sandie Peggie

Aren’t the government going to make firms tell new employees about joining a union? I think that should be followed by “FYI if you’re a woman don’t bother”.

Her type are just one of the reasons I left Unison after many years. I was a rep as well. Absolute handmaiden wallopers. How fecking dare they? How much money have us women put into trade unions over the years for shitty service? I'm with Sandie, The Darlington Nurses and all the other women who said No to Men.

I was a Unison member and a rep too. Said goodbye to them about 5 years ago when I peaked after reading the eye opening threads on here.

Yes I think we did an earlier thread about her. She has a trans identified 'nephew' and is seemingly oblivious to one of the biggest employment cases of recent years so she's either a liar or incompetent or both

Why has she not followed the case? I'd have thought someone aiming to be elected head of a union might find the case something worth following?

Judging by those comments about blonde hair / blue eyes, she doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the box does she?
A shame for women Unison members if they've elected yet another leader who doesn't give a fuck about women's rights.
