Look at the comments on AGP's social media. Hordes of women falling over themselves to tell mediocre blokes how stunning and brave they are. They actually flock to these men and ritually abase themselves before them.

Its weird. But its a thing.

Women are very much socialised to be kind and selfless - what better way to signal your virtue than a quick excursion to The Right Side of History?

As for the Graun, it was my go-to paper for absolutely donkeys. I migrated over to the Times during Covid for some respite from the "WE'RE ALL GOING TO DDIIIIIIEEEE AND THE TORIES ARE RESPONSIBLE" hysteria and never went back except for Jay Rayner and Nigel Slater. Since they're no longer there either, there's no reason to read it at all any more.

The Guardian has a thing to tell you how many articles you've read in the past 12 months. Mine used to be hundreds, possibly thousands. The last time I saw it I think it was 8.

The Guardian send me weekly emails asking for donations, but never give me the chance to reply. I really want to tell them that I cannot donate to them if they won’t support women. I assume I am not alone. If they understood this perhaps they might realise their approach is costing them.

On another thread this morning someone said, who reads the Guardian now, the centre-left abandoned it long ago? I don't really think that's true. I think there's still a hell of a lot of centre-left voters out there still reading the Guardian. I'm remiinded of a mate of mine, last time I visited,he complained "I'm the only leftie around here" (literally!) in a only-gay-in-the-village way. People take comfort in their tribe. That was my tribe too. Still is, in a way. The G has most closely mirrored my views on most issues through my life-time. But I call foul on genderwoo, and The G's promotion of it shameful, and increasingly tied in with its digital footprint in the US and Australia for boring financial reasons, no doubt.

And obviously there a vast and weighty cancellation incentives against speaking freely about any doubts they might or god forbid actively objecting to men getting everything, everywhere, all at once.

i think that they think that membership of a socially acceptable set of views includes pretending that women’s rights are already achieved, done and dusted. And they are healthy and privileged and don’t have to rely on public services themselves, so they aren’t disadvantaged by the effects of ending single sex provision for public services. They can cope with a few mixed sex toilets in the theatre or art gallery and think other women are being fussy or paranoid.
They may have trans identified kids, and will likely be working with trans identified young people at their workplaces who individually are perfectly nice young people.
They’re living in a bit of a cosy bubble basically. Haven’t thought it through, no incentives to do so.

What do you think it is that really motivates them? Are they all very attached to being members of a group ( group think) or what?

Don't underestimate the number of willing handmaidens who welcome men into the Ladies pond. You only have to look at the behaviour of the Kenwood Ladies Pond Association to see how many women have drunk the koolaid.

🤣 oh I am laughing at that so much and I have a cold so now coughing. I photograph toilet doors (with permission) and get some very funny stares. I got very excited about a particular door grill once and told the train guard how good it was, who then side eyed me for the rest of the journey, which made me chuckle and look even madder.

If I find myself in a queue for toilets with floor to ceiling doors and partitions I've taken to loudly talking about how unsafe they are, if I'm with someone or if I've struck up a conversation with someone else in the line. I don't just start declaiming. I'm not a complete lunatic. Helps to pass the time.

If they mention toilets then I reply, equally boringly (even to myself) explaining why ‘inclusive’ designed toilets aren’t inclusive, safer or healthier than single sex designs. 😁

I know GLP raised over £500,000 to lose in court over an argument that appeared to be insisting all toilets are mixed sex. If they had done their homework they would realise that can’t work practically, economically, legally or morally. That money could have been used to maintain 33 toilets in places of need (public toilets cost roughly £15k a year).

Then loads of places you shop with online will donate a percentage to your chosen charity. E.g. you can make M&S divert some of their profits for gender criticism 😁

Same thing writ small goes on here. The same old boring TRA LALA arguments have to be gone over every 4-6 weeks when some 'innocent face' 'ingenue' comes here and goes through something so predictable and repetitive it might as well be a script.

It's a kind of attempted attrition in my view.

And yes, it’s painful that women are having to pay to try and maintain our basic rights. Especially when you remember that the gender pay gap is alive and kicking 😡

it’s woken a lot of us up like cold water being poured on us from the dream that the post ww2 era of women’s rights have all been sorted out by the legal strides ahead of the previous generations in the 60s -90s and so now women can just get on with it, for sure.

I saw a list on X recently and the total spent on court cases was over £4 million!

You are right and in some ways it’s heartbreaking to think of the things women could have done were they not forced to define and defend themselves like this.

But I also hope a lot of good will come from this. Every court case that gets fought on these terms seems to operate like part of a ‘women’s bill of rights’, defining why we are both equal to men but also have different needs due to our biology. Society’s wilful misunderstanding of this stems from centuries of oppression and hopefully each little win pushes back on that a little. Hope so, anyway!

It’s outrageous that the BBC quotes such an obvious pile of rigged crap.
Every TRA will have said they are a regular user and live locally to increase their weighting.
