Now that the BBC has been forced to accept their bias and everyone seems to be u-turning, on both gender and the Isreal/Palestine war, how can the Guardian continue to employ and therefore support the views of Owen Jones?

The working class aren't exactly the most tolerant bunch of people in the UK so I'm not surprised he isn't chomping at the bit to champion their concerns these days.

There are brilliant trans voices emerging – like Shon Faye, Paris Lees and Munroe Bergdorf – but the media surely have a responsibility to provide a greater platform. And just as gay rights was once seen as the preserve of the “loony left”, trans people are desperately lacking in influential media allies.

Claiming any kind of aversion to any person as a sexual partner is in any way something to be tutted at disapprovingly is fucking vile. Women are free to turn down men or not consider dating them for absolutely any reason at all.

Claiming that women not putting out is some kind of phobia is both disgusting misogyny and diminishing of the real and existing issues.

This does seem typical of him, ranting away at a statistic without even attempting to understand the underlying reasons for that figure.

I am guessing huge factor is the 'bi now, gay later' factor. Many men come out as bisexual before announcing they are gay, even LOJ himself admitted to this. Women may be naturally cautious.

There is probably a lot else going on if you have the time to unpick the stats but LOJ just declares it is bigoted women

I honestly think he's just done a knee jerk reaction at seeing women saying 'no' to something.

He did go through a phase of claiming he was looking for a lesbian couple to impregnate before he turned 40. He was asked at the time if that would include trans lesbians but got annoyed again.

I am not aware of any obliging ladies who allowed him to get anywhere near them to achieve his their dream. The hateful TERFs
