Personally, I wouldn't be overly concerned about BSB complaints. My friend Adrian Yalland has received 16 (and there are more from different names). All were binned. In addition:

• A solicitor of mine was reported to the SRA (dismissed).
• My barrister was doxed on KiwiFarms.
• A solicitor friend was threatened with the SRA for helping me.
• Various solicitors representing my friends (Caroline, Matthew) have either been reported to, or threatened with, the SRA.

No complaint has ever gone anywhere. It's annoying being forced to respond to it in terms of time but there has never been any consequences except for perhaps the complainant who has made themselves look deranged.

Every field has its pioneers 🤷

There was a suggestion on Twitter that - IIRC - there would be a trustee to the bankruptcy who would have to approve legal action? IANAL so I don’t know how true that is, but it would clip SH’s legal wings if it is.

Plus acknowledging receipt of the demand for costs to Charles Terf in his letter claiming that it was invalid because it hadn’t been personally served.

Sounds like more proof that SH is a vexatious litigant trying to use the law to carry out a personal vendetta against CW.

Someone told Colin that Hayden ‘won’t like what Colin is doing and will lash out’.

Thanks @Hoardasurass I was confused as to the relevance because I thought he had no assets anyway and never paid his debts but targeted people who would risk losing their homes etc if they lost in court and had to pay costs.

His gallitrooning around and refusing to be at a confirmed address for service does not prevent service. He's already been made bankrupt once and all his whinging and ridiculous threats aren't going to stop it a second time.

Update on enforcement of costs in Hayden v Heath @ LegalGengar. I have now had a response to my letter to Hayden. The response started with the words “Please find attached (in PDF) correspondence of even date, which even you should be capable of understanding in terms absolute.”/1

The letter acknowledges the receipt of a statutory demand but denies it is valid because it was not personally served. Hayden states that unless it is withdrawn, Hayden will apply to set it aside. The Rules require the demand to be brought to Hayden’s attention. /2

Clearly a letter referring to the demand means it has been brought to Hayden’s attention. An application to set it aside would need to exhibit the demand. There is no requirement for personal service as claimed by Hayden. There are threats of an injunction etc which are odd /3

There is reference to a legal authority which has no relevance at all. Importantly Hayden openly admits the inability to pay, Hayden is therefore insolvent, as Hayden admitted in open court. Lots of bluster but no substance, that is par for the course. /4

The next step will be to present a bankruptcy petition to the court. A Trustee in Bankruptcy can then investigate the affairs of Hayden. Hayden’s application to set aside the demand or defend the petition will both fail. The effect of bankruptcy will be far reaching. /5

He doesn't strike me as a person who will spend his own personal fortune or capital on others, despite his rhetoric. It's always someone else's money (with a cheeky skim to him and his organisations - oh well man's gotta eat).

When there is any danger of all this (gestures widely at involvement with clearly mad people doing mad mad things skirting legality) affecting his personal wealth, he'll drop it/them like it's/them's hot and move on. He will always have his money and property safely insulated and at arm's length from any danger. That's his professional expertise after all.

I wonder what it will take for Jolyon to distance himself from the polycule and ex cops nutjobs. Death threats for the top 25 GC ers are obviously not it.
