Trans Liberation Group

The MP Zarah Sultana of Your Party has posed with a new group called The Trans Liberation Group. All fine if she truly believes men can be women. The group are active on X with a small following. They have a website. https://transliberationgroup.org.uk

They are also targeting students at universities to join Your Party. Again all fine if politics is the motive. Call me a cynic but I think students are very vulnerable and easily sucked into politics that look different. It feels like these Trans Liberation Group are trying to be less TRA and more mainstream. Either way they may suck in vulnerable groups.

I also find ZS somewhat disingenuous. She raves about Palestine but rails against Israel. She does know that Palestine and Hamas would not support her stance on Trans people surely?

If you are truly interested in the safety of women then please look into the actual number of assaults in women's only spaces in the UK carried out by trans women. You will find nothing

I'm returning to this gobsmackingly huge lie because it was written so casually, as if it was a well known fact that could be easily verified by published evidence. So naturally a lot of readers who are new to this issue might well accept it at face value.

The website transcrimeuk.com has been documenting recorded crimes by this 'most oppressed minority' for the past eight years. It includes a small number of cases going back to the 1980s, but the vast majority of cases happened since 2000. That's understandable because historic crime is harder to research, and the number of trans-identifying men has soared in recent years.

Transcrimeuk.com records 347 convictions of assault by trans-identifying men against women or children, including 21 murders or attempted murder of women or children.

On top of that were 65 convictions for possession of images of child sexual abuse or extreme pornography.

Those are only a few of the crimes committed by trans-identifying people (the overwhelming majority being men) in a long list of categories. I couldn't count the whole number in every category.

Statistics from the Ministry of Justice show, on 31 March 2024, there were approximately 295 transgender prisoners in England and Wales, 151 identified their legal gender as male and were convicted of a sexual offense, compared to five or fewer who identified their legal gender as female

https://committees.parliament.uk/writtenevidence/18973/pdf/
A Swedish study showed that male to female transitioners retained a male pattern regarding criminality. The same was true regarding violent crime.
MtF transitioners were over 6 times more likely to be convicted of an offence than female comparators and 18 times more likely to be convicted of a violent offence. The group had no statistically significant differences from other natal males, for convictions in general or for violent offending.

Trans-identifying prisoners are 2.5 times more likely than other men to have been convicted of sexual offences:
https://www.crimeandjustice.org.uk/prison-service-needs-work-facts-not-fiction
In 2018, the BBC Reality Check team found that 48 per cent of transgender
offenders were serving time for a sexual offence (the figure for the general prison population is just 19 per cent).

Official Ministry of Justice statistics from March 2024 state:
https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/hmpps-offender-equalities-annual-report-2023-to-2024/hmpps-offender-equalities-report-202324
show The number of transgender prisoners recorded has continued to increase this year. As with last year, most transgender prisoners were legally male

Where are all the middle aged women who have transitioned to present as men? It seems there are many middle aged men presenting as women, or rather living their fetish out in public, any stats on transition would be useful to compare.

Well said @Shedmistress many are union reps or manage staff network groups. There is another thread which has just started which also references the Spiked article by Stella O’Malley. It might be of interest to those commenting on this one as a way to move on.

I am increasingly concerned that the trans community have been infiltrated by AGP males

Surely AGP males are at the core of the trans movement, and always have been? Isn't it based on male sex fetishism? The women involved seem very different -- confused and unhappy rather than glorying in 'trans joy'.

They ARE the trans movement.

Hi, I came across these posts about queer people supporting Palestine and as a queer supporter of Palestine I want to make something very clear. My railing against the genocide and killing of children there is not contingent on their support of my lifestyle. That's not how making moral choices works. What is happening there is affecting queer people too - we exist everywhere no matter a government's stance on our existence. Those people do not deserve bombing and starvation. If you have a quick Google about the actual 'laws' surrounding being LGBTQ+ in Palestine, they might contradict your expectations too!

If you are truly interested in the safety of women then please look into the actual number of assaults in women's only spaces in the UK carried out by trans women. You will find nothing - I'd like to draw your attention to actual sexual assaults carried out by men (around 98% of them): there is much work to be done. When we demonise trans women, we blame one of the most marginalised groups in the UK for actual harm done by men - we put under threat the bodily autonomy of cis women (female at birth) who do not fit into societies standards of what a woman should be/look like. This disproportionately affects women of colour and has already lead to the humiliation and abuse of gender-non conforming women (butch lesbians, to name one group) in toilets. These arguments also leave a gaping hole when it comes to trans men (female at birth, now male), who in this instance will need to use female toilets. In the way that trans women are often indistinguishable from cis women, trans men often look like 'blokes' - this will make 'sneaking into the toilet by men who say they are trans' completely doable under the guise of being 'trans men'. Do you see how silly this is now?

Only 0.5% of people in the UK are trans. They want to be able to live their lives with dignity.

It's really important when we are considering 'arguments' like this we are radically honest with ourselves abut what we are hoping to find - and whether those hopes hinge on our comfortability around things we haven't experienced ourselves! If there's something you don't understand - ask! I hope this helps.

The subject of this thread Trans Lib Group are trying to get Your Party to be focused on pushing genderist thinking on trans ideas in a party which has been obsessed with the Gaza conflict.

However the problem is YP has 4 MPs who are Muslims who really care about Gaza but who hate genderist thinking as is standard for most Muslims in the UK and worldwide.

It is looking like the Gaza MPs along with Corbyn as seizing control of the party and are going to sideline the trans stuff and Sultana at the party conference. As often occurs "Queers" for Palestine are just window dressing for socially conservative Muslims who would ban them if they ever got real power.

All this has been discussed in depth in the YP party threads recent developments in the last week are indicating the fix seems to be in and the Gaza MPs will be the real controllers of YP.

For those interested in sex and gender this development is going to be key. Because the Trans Lib Group are actually a mens rights group they are naturally attracted towards supporting patriarchal religions like Islam. Note the Trans activists never really challenge Islam when it says there are only two sexes and one is subordinate to the other. Nor are they very interested in opposing fundementalist Christians they do criticise them more, but considering the Vatican thinks genderism is Satanic and is fighting it accordingly they never go full out against them. Because the Pope a man is allowed to say what he thinks.

The real threat for men in the TLG is of course pesky women saying the truth. They will try ANYTHING to silence them. This double standard is a big problem for them. It hampers their effectiveness and exposes their hypocrisy.

Oh for heaven's sake, I can think of numerous cases off the top of my head, late at night and without having time to check spellings:

Katie Dolatowski assaulted a child in women's toilets, Karen White assaulted prisoners in a women's prison, the Bash Back thugs violently harassing women at the recent Filia women's conference, the unnamed trans-identifying male who raped a woman in hospital in 2021. All of these in Britain in the past few years. Just a few of many cases.

I’ll come back as I have given some thought to this now. I actually feel some sympathy for the group TBH. I am gender critical, I do not believe trans women are women or that trans men are men. I support their right to live as they feel as long as it does not impact me. I do not want a man in my spaces.

I am increasingly concerned that the trans community have been infiltrated by AGP males and am interested as to how the media will start to raise this issue.

My sympathy for this new liberation group is that people like ZS are not truly supportive-I cannot prove that I am aware. It just seems quite opportunistic of her to get people on board for Your Party. Akin to Zak Polanski stating he believes women can have male genitalia.

I can only speak for myself obv but, for me, as a woman I'm extremely fucking insulted when told I have to accept men as women or that men have a right to define what a woman is. That is one of my main gripes with the whole trans thing, when were we consulted about changing our definition?

This.

It is also important to remember that men cannot be women. Full disclosure I came to that conclusion myself without AI.

Many of us came to this long before AI was even a thing. But it really is important to stop responding to AI phrases and bots that come on here just to manipulate and learn the responses that they are generating.

One can imagine every thread having a wee MRA plopper as a sort of anti-mascot.

Hah! I've been hanging around here long enough to remember the old midnight misogynist. Fun times!

I wonder if these muppets have any idea how unintentionally hilarious they are.
(Although there are times when I wish they'd just fuck off and stop ruining perfectly decent and potentially interesting threads. But, sadly for them, I'm not actually UPSET by them which is clearly the goal)

"As one of my earlier posts stated I am gender critical. I do not believe anyone can change sex but I am adult enough to appreciate some people feel they need to present as the opposite sex. That is fine - just appreciate my space as my space and respect that as a biological female I want privacy away from men, however they present."

As do trans women.

Transwomen are not able to have privacy away from men - everywhere they go they take a man with them...

Also, there are certain things it is reasonable to expect of society or even demand in some cases - but demanding the impossible is probably over that boundary... It doesn't matter what is said / how eloquent or logical the discussion (and sadly it is rarely that!) underlying it all - a man is a man. So a transwoman is simply a man in a frock with or without bodily mutilation... To make decisions therefore, it is completely reasonable to consider them as men, because they are - we don't need to sub-categorise men - it would be as logical as loos for blond men or loos for those who are left-handed, or loos for those below 5'5" - in fact the latter might be more logical - you could have lower urinals!

As a transwoman can never be anything other than a man - so they ready have their own space with other men - if they don't like that, tough, society can not be expected to deal with every like and dislike... provision of a space for blokes and a space for women is sufficient - alternative toilets for the disabled who have special requirements is absolutely a reasonable adaptation - special loos and spaces for men who want to pretend to be women - absolute nonsense!

----------

"Trans women are men. I am allowed to have that opinion. It does not make me transphobic."

No one is suggesting stating trans women are biologically 'male' is transphobia. What's transphobic in the true sense of 'a phobia' is an irrational fear of them.

Hurrah - about the most logical thing I have read from this poster - absolutely correct in the meaning of phobia... now take the English lesson that little bit further - transphobia would be fear of trans - as it is biologically impossible for anyone to transition, and as we know from repeated postings on here, you can't even transition gender (you simply expand the definition of your own gender), therefore there is fundamentally no such thing as trans - it is not possible.

ergo - not possible to be transphobic...

This is my stance too. Ever since the late '90s early 2000s at least. I've seen nothing these last 20 odd years to change my mind. Rather the contrary actually. The behaviour of most Transwomen in the public eye especially has, if anything, confirmed that humans cannot change sex. So well done lads.

solerolover · 12/11/2025 16:51

This disproportionately affects women of colour

You TRA's just can't help yourselves when it comes to being horrifically racist and using us as your shields can you? I'm a woman of colour (black African) and I've never, ever had problems navigating single sex spaces, why would I? Same goes for my friends who are of various ethnicities such as Japanese, Bengali, Nepali and Iraqi. Some of them come from Muslim backgrounds too and they definitely don't want men in their private spaces. I'm screaming bloody murder if I ever see a man in the ladies loo or changing room, to hell with your babble.

Doesn’t seem to occur to the poster (or anyone making this argument) that they might be addressing butch lesbians and women of colour who have somehow managed to navigate single sex provision for many decades.

It’s as though the idea of different facilities for men and women is new.

The homophobia and racism is glaring.

Also, anyone else spotted the double standards of "I will happily stand up for the rights of Palestinian people because they are being oppressed even though some may not respect queer identities" and "I won't stand up for the rights of female people even though they are oppressed because that clashes with queer identities"?
