Also, doesn't that behavour imply women don't actually have a voice. If a Trans person can behave that, that implies the male aggression is still within them.

Slur is a term used when someone says something historically racist. Throwing "slur" around willy-nilly undermines centuries of oppression.

This isn't an apartheid/racial slur or the C word etc. Just a made up term made up by men who think they can be women. Just faux victimhood. That's not bravery. It's like calling a man a....whatever and him crying "I'm being oppressed for men beliefs".
Now, if violence was involved, then that's a different situation. Is Cambridge itself abasing the society formation? If not....no problem.

Because there are numerous male people in positions of influence who are supportive of male people with transgender identities being treated as if they are female. It doesn’t matter a jot whether those male people are heterosexual, bisexual or homosexual.

They do so because of their political ideals, their future aspirations or because they will support any male person above a female person, or simply cannot understand the needs of female people. There are plenty of reasons why those male people will prioritise male people with transgender identities above female people.

However, the issue for these three young women and the negative impact on them is not restricted to the group of men you seem keen to restrict the issue to.

What slur could "Thea" face? Is she not white? The mistake she and the others made is not getting ally ship from straight males. I know that's not nice to say, but it's the quickest way to get protection from hate from other groups.

That is primarily woman fault. Many thought defending trans benefited women in some daft ideology. Would have been easier to get this society passed/allowed if they partnered with straight men or allowed men to have their own space too. Allyship/scratch my back if I scratch your back.

I believe that Thea, at least, has suffered significant ostracisation due to some uncontroversial comments and had slurs carved into her accommodation doors.

These young women are very brave considering the degree of rejection and abuse they face for founding this group publicly.

The vast majority of the population believe men can't be women, though not all of them are willing to stand up and say so, because it's seen as "unkind" to do so. Until now there have been no women-only groups at Cambridge which are specifically restricted to those born female and won't admit men who say they are women. That is seen as transphobic by most students today.

Well you should have said that of the start instead of getting ego centric. However, I still don't see the bravery in it. Lets not act they're fighting apartheid. Also, as I have stated several times, I just cannot see how straight males (the majority/influential) would care about it as it doesn't affect them. Unless an "all men society " wasn't allowed/disbanded.
