i watched this last night and thought for the most part alot it was very selective editing, situations and comments being quote completely out of context. Obviously the senior officers comments about women were completely derogatory but alot of it was just a bit of dark humour. Hardly institutional

I have just watched this and it's honestly shocked me.

Whilst I know there are bad apples, it is really awful to realise that the vulnerable are abused so openly without anyone speaking up

In what conceivable way is the Met's culture of misogyny and racism 'hidden'? It's practically an entry requirement.

Exactly. Some of whats been said comes from experience, I am sure the younger policeman made conclusions based on the frequency of occurrence and not because he doesnt like those criminals personally.
And anyway, he was not at work, he was at a pub, and should have been asked for permission to be filmed.
One just cant say anything anymore to anyone. And can't discuss anything unless you say something that suits to the offended crowd.
Other things said WERE inappropriate.
I come from a culture where people laugh at how softly criminals are treated in western countries and make comic sketches and even comedy movies about that.

The Met has a serious aversion to arresting Muslims accused of raping minors. PRO Palestine violent protestors are never bothered, week in week out.

Interesting because someone asked cop who commits the most crime and he says “Dude, easy. Muslims. They HATE us. They DISPISE us. “.

They never arrest the untouchables, flopping around with their huge feet, no matter what they do to women.
They are happy to arrest women for stickers, a ribbon, or being untoward towards pedophiles.

The orders have to be coming from somewhere, about who not to arrest. Hmmm I don’t want to go off on some weird tangent.

Nobody is saying that. It is true that historically the grooming gang criminals were let off due to their race & religion, and the cover up continued until recently.

Also the anti semitism on many Palestine marches often seems ignored, though ofc many non Muslims on those are also guilty.

This might be a stupid question but how come they are allowed to show the faces of the policemen in question? I understand they have been dismissed and rightfully so ( don't trust the police or the BBC) but would not think they would be allowed to be shown like this

As if the answer to the problem of the non-crime hate incidents, or lack of action over grooming gangs, is to start arresting people just for being Muslim. Christ alive.

I'd argue that the real man-hate is thinking so badly of men that you expect nothing better of them than misogyny and racism.

All the best beloved people in my life are male and I expect great things from them, because I know that's what they're capable of.

ffs ….there are tens of thousands of police men and women. The vast majority of them are decent hard working people doing a fucking impossible job. A percentage of them are nasty horrible arseholes. A small percentage of them will be criminals, paedophiles, drug addicts, misogynists etc. This is not a surprised.

Rather odd that in the article when the ‘reporter’ couldn’t get the evidence he wanted from one police man when he was on duty with that man,
he decided that he needed to befriend him and go to the pub and keep questioning and probing all after work hours in order to get anything incriminating.

This is strange as most of them seem to spend their time arresting British people for ‘hateful’ tweets.
They seem to give Muslims a free pass and lock up everybody else.

Look at what the police have to deal with. I wouldn’t/couldn’t do it.

I've lived in London for 28 years. Most people I know don't trust the Met police. In my time in London we've had so many scandals, that when a new one breaks, the common refrain is, "Well what do you f*cking expect?"

Wherever you find men, you find misogyny.

It's rather like secret filming in a primary school dining room discovering that children like chips. Yes, everyone knows the met are fundamentally misogynist and racist, it's not a secret, it's openly enacted and tax payer funded.

The government should take a leaf out of the gender movement's book and follow their example on how to indoctrinate and fix policy. There needs to be groups like Sex Matters and FWS going in to do training, points systems and shiny badges and banners to earn, and a rigid and harsh discipline system for anyone daring to say anything off message. Parades with pretty glittery costumes. Colourful lanyards. Stonewall showed how to do it. It works. Go politically capture the police. And then do the NHS. And the Civil Service. And the HoC and HoL.
