MN has made me pink and I am outraged at the stereotyping!

I feel that I have been taken over by aliens.

All my posts are now pink.

And OP posts are now the blue that used to be the colour on MNHQ posts.

@MNHQ I really really don't like the new colour scheme, and miss the suffragette colours immensely. Please can you add those colours back to the options in settings so that normal service is resumed?

Also, how reductive is pink and blue as the standard colour settings in a website for women. FFS.

It also says "My posts" now at the top, in a kinda purple/ burgundy.

I dislike royal blue. I never wear it, I disliked it when it was plastered all over my Windows desktop and I still dislike it now it now.
The new colour scheme also happens to be pink, blue and white, and my old preference of green, purple and white is mysteriously no longer available.

I had no idea you could change from the default and now it seems that ALL of FWR have been sufragetting their way through chats and NOBODY TOLD ME <sulks>. And now it’s gone <double sulks>.

MNHQ please bring it back so I can see what it was like.

Yes, but they are all very wishy-washy, no strong colours now. I want my lovely lavender and green back.

And why oh why oh why™️ are there great big labels 'original,poster' and 'my posts' on posts, as well as the colour changes?

The pastel colours are awful. You can change the colours for both your own posts and the OP's in Settings.

It really is more tiring to read.

Not sure why but even the listing of posts eg new and recently updated somehow clashes.

Not sure if as individual users we can can that, but the glaring pink on shiny blue is just a hostile environment.

Maybe I should switch to dark mode.

Even thought as FWR I would like to think we have special status!

Most posters on the "official" thread seem to find the pink migrance inducing.

The colours are so pale they ae pointless.

I’m fine with it, looks a bit brighter but after a few minutes I hardly noticed. I seem to be more of a salmon pink.

I always view the site in Dark Mode so in the past I chose purple for OP posts and green for my posts. Now I don't see any colours in any posts except a stupid pink lozenge attached to posts belonging to the OP.

I loved having the colours I had because white text on a dark background reduces eyestrain and headaches for me, and then the OP and my posts being consistently coloured helped me to find them when scrolling quickly through a busy thread.

| agree that it might be useful to give people a colour wheel or a crayon chart to pick their preferred colours for designating posts.

I didn’t like it for all of three posts. Now I’m fine with the pink. I like it more now than the colour was before. I think it was green? 😀 I’m a quick adapter.

Nothing if you like it. Not everyone does. And it's not a nice shade of pink either. I wouldn't even call it pink really.
